Dear members of The Last of Us,

We have struggled for a long time and did our very best to breathe new life into this universe. But as most of you noticed, there was not much we could do to get out of this downwards spiral where we had so little members that the ones that did join got discouraged very easily and the ones that were still here had no plots to keep themselves active or busy. .

Two weeks ago, we asked your opinion on our current situation and the future of this RP. Most of you understood our struggles and agreed (though very sad) that there is no way to revive this universe. So (we all hate this moment, but we have to be honest with you and ourselves), this is the time where we have to announce the end of TLOU-KRP. We really tried everything to keep it alive and find it really hard to say goodbye to the universe where (for me) it all started, but it was not meant to be. 

We would like to thank all our members for all the lovely moments and awesome plots that we shared and we hope that we will see you in another roleplay universe.

Not So Sneaky, Are You?|| Jihyo & BoA

“Well, shit”, Boa cursed under her breath as she checked her supplies. She had left her refuge for a few weeks as she gathered some supplies for a big trade she was going to make. Everything was going smoothly, a lot smoother than she expected for such a big merchandise like that one. Instead of feeling relieved, she got restless. The years of experience told her that things like this ended one of two ways, either the deal went so smoothly that she would gain more clientele just from that one deal-- good dealers that didn’t draw blank checks or double crossed you were turning rarer as time went by and need and desperation grew-- or hell was about to break loose. Her senses told her the latter was about to happen, which it did.

The only downside of being a completely independent trader was the fact that the closest people in your life were the same that would cross you for just the right amount of ration cards or supplies. She knew it, people knew it. So, what better way of getting a deal so big done without losing large amount of rations than killing your supplier? None, it seemed to be the answer to those damn backstabbers. Boa bared her teeth as a growl resonated from her throat.

“Bastards.”

She barely got out of there alive, no thanks to them. It was a very close call but she managed to pull through-- years of experience can really save your neck in tough situations. Her only regret was not putting two bullets in each and every one of their ugly faces. Still, she should have known better than doing such a big trade with newcomers. Kids these days are either backstabbers or junkies.

“Me and my damn greed once more almost got me killed.”

Seeing no other way around her situation, especially with the damn bullet that went clean through her right shoulder, she found herself late that very same night within the Firefly’s territory, looking for supplies. It wasn’t very fun stealing from either the Military or the Fireflies with a busted shoulder and low on ammo but it’ll have to do, if she wanted to treat her injuries.

She stayed with the darkness, sneaking around every Firefly member she saw. It wasn’t her first time breaking in so she knew exactly where they kept their supplies. However, her physical state didn’t allow her to move very fast or be able to sneak past some of the Fireflies without have to use her right shoulder. So, by the time she got to their storage, she felt like it had been an eternity and a half. Boa was just about ready to drop to the floor as soon as she was within the storage walls, but she forced herself to move on as she began to gather supplies as fast as she could.

Try and teach me | Sang Gil + Jihyo

Human race tend to think that age is what define if someone is still a child or not.             It is said that maturity is what makes someone more of an adult, and maturity obviously comes with more years of being on Earth. Well, it could depend on the person. Although being mature, Sang Gil could still be considered as a child, walking away from his superior’s room and mimicking his voice, repeating the order again and again.

“You need to learn how to fight properly, bla bla bla.” he said in a mocking tone, trying (not too hard) to imitate the man he just talked with.

After a mission that was supposed to be simple, Sang Gil had to run to the hospital to get fixed. Literally. He successfully failed his mission and got into a dangerous situation he would have done anything to avoid. Sometime, the boy wondered if the odds had fun at making his life difficult when it wasn’t the time to struggle. After staying under the care of the doctors and nurses, he got yelled at and had to explain the problem. Which was, in fact, a really simple problem; Sang Gil never learned how to fight properly. Was it relevant for him to learn about martial arts and such? Not at all. He did learn how to use many different types of guns – although the sniper rifle stayed his favourite for its efficiency – but he never fancied the hand-to-hand combat, which would have been useful in the past situation.

And now he had to go see a supposedly assigned teacher and learn how to fight. All he could think of was Why. Why would a spy need to fight? He just got into trouble, sure, but it’s a small mistake. And the price to pay was painful, but not too much; he went through worst before joining the Firefly. And to quite honest, Sang Gil always though his brain was better than his muscle. Any situation could be avoided with a good plan. Sometimes, his plans just weren’t that good and being physically hurt were the consequences.

He sighed pettishly while walking. If someone saw him rage like that, they would think he was human after all and not just an emotionless shell with long hair. He was supposed to meet with his teacher outside, at a very specific spot in the firefly territory – no need to put them in danger for no reason in the free zone. Once there he crossed his arms and waited in silence, trying to not let any anger show on his face.

JB had to admit many days are far more peaceful than others. He enjoys the days where he doesn't have to deal with people clambering into his office begging for a fix because he's got what can make them forget. He can make them forget about their lost loved ones and the fact that they're probably never going to find peace in this hell on earth again. It's unfortunate, he thinks whenever he's actually left alone with his thoughts, that people had to live through this with the possibility of seeing their loved ones grow ill and eventually kill and kill until they were stopped. No wonder people came to him for an escape.

Sometimes when things were like this, he would sit and think about his parents and how he'd lost them so easily. They'd slipped through his fingers and all it had taken was a crowd of people acting like chickens with their heads cut off. They'd all been too busy trying to keep their own families together that they hadn't realized that they'd separated him from his own parents. He snuffed at the memory and put it at the back of his mind again. He didn't have time to lament over his lost parents.

He's eventually taken out of his thoughts by the familiar gurgling and clicking that puts him to sleep at night and he wonders if maybe they're hungry for something. He can't help but wonder how much of their human sanity is still trapped somewhere within them as their bodies are controlled by some disease. Today was far too quiet for his liking at this point. He was thinking about how the infected live with themselves again and that meant he'd been alone with his thoughts for too damn long.

Maybe he just needed some excitement to jump start him back into normal thoughts.

The gray spaces between us | Jihyo & Siwon

The objective was clear as always: venture beyond the Quarantine Zones in search of the Infected and bring back samples to study. His father was mostly interested in their brain tissue and how it developed with each proces of the infected stages. So far samples from both Runners and Stalkers had been most surprising to observe, but hadn't lead to a sign of creating a cure or any type of vaccin, yet. Therefor the search continued and more samples were required, especially fresh ones from specimens missing from their labs.

Which was exactly why Siwon found himself in this particular unpleasant predicament, even if he had volunteered. It was beyong him why he had refused to bring a squad. Then again, this wasn't his first expedition. Heck, it wasn't even his first expedition all alone in the free district. He could do this, he just had to focus.

He had been running so hard his throat started to ache as he slowed near a thick tree. His legs couldn't carry him much further, lungs burning in desperate need of oxygen that made his head spin. One moment was enough, he needed just a quick moment to catch his breath. A familiar haunting, repetitive noise promised him there could be no such thing. If he wanted to make it back alive, he had to get moving again even if the muscles in his legs were cramping up. Tilting his head back, Siwon opted not to travel horizantal but vertical instead. With mud covered boots he engaged a slippery climb up a tree to hide from the creature's sight. The Infected was gaining ground as it used its clicking sound as echolocation to seperate him from the fauna he was hiding in. If he only got a moment to prepare his rifle then he could very well end this, before the Clicker ended him.

He never thought a day would come like this, that out of all things he would find the days ticking by too slow for his pleasure. The past one week felt like a year to him. He carried his duty as per normal, but something seemed amiss and often than not he found himself losing focus — his train of thoughts always straying off onto a certain person.

Her smile, her laughter, her touch and the way she called him oppa with a cute tone.

And when the night before it finally arrived, he started to panic for no apparent reason. He refused to admit that it was out of nervousness. There was nothing to be nervous about at all. Absolutely nothing. He was just going to meet Jihyo again, whose name often had him grinning like an idiot whenever he thought of her.

Once, one of his squadron soldiers happened to catch him in a dazed smiling look. It honestly scared the crap out of the soldier and thought that his captain was possessed. The consequence? The soldier had to do ten laps around the field carrying two buckets full of water for saying that.

They were supposed to meet near lunch time, but he had woke up too early and decided to do something for her since it was impossible for him to go back to sleep. So here he was, skinning and cutting the raw meat — from which he had hunted earlier on — into small pieces before poking them through the long skewers.

The snow was starting to melt, but it was still relatively chilly, especially when the wind blew past and the fire in front of him crackled in protest. He hoped Jihyo would be wearing enough lest she catches a cold.

“Shit shit, are you okay?!”

Jihyo blinked. Blinked. Blinked again.

“You… you dropped me!” she gasped in indignation, her eyes wide with accusation and something akin to confusion.

“I – I didn’t! I thought the desk would be able to handle more…” he trailed off, reaching his hand down to help her back up.

She was sprawled amidst broken pieces of wood where the desk had given way under her, naked and indignant. That was definitely not the outcome she was expecting when seconds earlier she’d been biting down his neck, listening to him groan as he dropped her on the desk. Where she’d promptly dropped through.

She slapped his hand away, crossing her arms underneath her breasts.

“Oh! And now you’re calling me heavy! My butt being bruised wasn’t enough, now my ego too?!” she huffed in anger, looking away to hide her amusement at how his face instantly went contrite. He looked way more cuter like that than she could handle right now, she had an ego to protect. “Aish! Some boyfriend you are, really.”

A smile tugged at her lips anyway, and then he stepped forward, slowly sliding his hands down her back to her thighs and lifting her up. She bit down the yelp just in time, wrapping her arms and legs around him, looking at him in surprise for the second time in barely a minute.

He smiled slowly. “Featherlight,” he said, a note of amusement dancing in his voice, and she would accept that as an apology because then he leaned in and kissed her, and being angry seemed an impossibility.

After a while she broke away to level him a look of utmost warning and severity.

“Do. not. drop me again.”

“Never, Jihyo-yah, never. I’ll just hold onto you forever.”

“Sorry, but I’m not interested in your offer.”

Jeonghangritted his teeth. “This is not an offer… it’s an order.”

Herose the shorter sword of his higher, right in front of the woman’sthroat before cocking his head lightly to the side. He didn’t thinkit’d be necessary to be so obvious as she was already tied to achair, which by the way was missing a leg and would most likelycollapse if she’d move even an inch into the wrong direction, but asit seemed she wasn’t going to understand the situation she was inuntil he would show off in what danger she was.

“Idon’t think you get what’s going on so let me repeat it…” keepinghis eyes on the older female Jeonghan pressed the tip of the swordagainst her skin, to his satisfaction she flinched faintly at thetouch, and brushed some hair out of his face, “I’m in charge hereand I asked you to tell me about your connections. You don’t have theoption to not tell me. Well, actually you do but in that case I’llhave to get blood on this sword and I guess we both don’t want thatto happen.”

Ashe kept on watching her Jeonghan felt his hand itching to slice herskin open. She wasn’t showing any fear, her gaze was withstanding hiswithout even looking away once, and as it looked like she wanted todefendherself. But unfortunately; yes matter of fact the boy hoped shewould actually give him a reason to harm her, the door opened beforea single word slipped off her tongue.

Insteadof her voice a much deeper growl echoed through the room some momentslater. “What the hell are you doing here?!” Without turningaround Jeonghan recognized the voice and knew he was in trouble. Fromthis moment on the mission would be hell to him.
