Who made you authority on relevant issues? relevant to whom? there's a billion relevant issues. War, the state of politics, global food and water insecurity, poverty, the widening wealth inequality, the increasing disparity between home prices and wages, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, islamophobia, the death of accessibility due to hostile architecture, censorship, the end of spaces for children because you can't advertise to them, purity culture, global warming, microplastics, the ethics of AI, access to healthcare, the fucked up interlink between insurance, pharmacies and healthcare providers in the US, global rise of right wing radicalism, inflation, rising costs of living, unwalkable cities, the dramatic decline in quality of education from irresponsible ai use by students and teachers alike, the increasing inaccessibility of college, political overreach, end of separation of church and state, I could keep fucking going. not all these issues have the same level of impact. not one of these issues isn't important.
What exactly do you want a singer to speak on? and why do you feel like you're owed his activism? Harry is here to sing. Could he use his platform to raise awareness about whatever issues he chooses to? Yes!! Of course he could! But I don't see why he would? He's going to be labeled performative regardless! people will hate on him anyway!
He does his part in the way that he can. he lets his money talk, he doesn't back away from the questions he's asked (thinking of him explicitly supporting women's right to choose during the peak of the roe v Wade conversations).
