The intruders name (Six) means *OR* is supposed to parallele the Sixth Dimension. Im going to refrain from calling The Intruder "Six" because Im gonna talk alot about the Sixth Dimension, Yada-Yada and I dont wanna cause confusion.
On Alex's insta, someone asks a question about The intruder and the meaning of his name/ its meaning in general, to this Alex says "stay tuned".
Now I have a screenshot from and old video that Im pretty sure was unlisted from Alex's videos *OR* privated, this video is a "Trailer" for Mandela catalouge and features quite a bit of stuff that we havent seen in actual videos created, but what caught my attention was this frame from the video. It says '4th Dimension" and shows a cube inside a cube.
We know that Alternates themselves are "On different spectrums" which implies they can live in different planes and *POSSIBLY* different Dimensions of existance. So, that cube or the "4th Dimension" could mean that, Alternates live and/or are from the "4th Dimension".
We also know that Alex has stated that the Intruder isnt an alternate himself, and that he is something else entirely that *works* with Alternates.
This means that he is different in some way from Alternates that for some reason makes him special.
The Difference that divides Alternates from The intruder is that The intruder is on a *COMPLETELY DIFFERENT* spectrum, plane, or Dimension of existance *entirely*
Which is maybe why his name is literally Six. Its because he is on/in the Sixth Dimension We also know that this series isnt over yet so things can change, or we could get New information. Hold on to the idea of New information because im gonna take a LEAP stay with me.
The last screenshot says that Six-dimensional space is any space that has *six dimensions, six degrees of freedom, and that needs six pieces of data, or coordinates, to specify a location in this space.* There are an infinite number of these, but those of most interest are simpler ones that model some aspect of the environment. We have seen The intruder *SO FAR* in 4 different spectrums
1. Inside TVs ANALOG]
2. Physically [He has been called "the man in the corner"
which implies hes quite literally *HERE* in the moment
physically to be seen]
3. Inside dreams/nightmares [Adam says that The intruder
comes to him in a dream]
4. Inside Mirrors [Hes seen inside the girls mirror in the
newest Mandela catalouge video]
This all points to the fact that The intruder can appear on completely different spectrums. While we have only seen alternates appear physically and/or torment people mentally (inside dreams, nighmares, and hallucinations.)
So, the intruders name SIX paralleles the Dimension he exists inside.
Theory & Analysis: Lynn Murray (pt. 2 of Adam's age analysis)
To preface, this is sort of a part 2 for the theory and analysis I did on Adam's age that you can find here. In summary, I came to the conclusion that given the evidence available, it appears to be more likely that Adam is a toddler, probably around 4, when he was taken/killed, and that the Murray case as a whole took place in late 1992. While you can read this theory without having read that one, it's highly recommended that you read that one first.
At the end of that post, I mentioned that while we know the crib in Adam's room is real, the infant crying may not be. While there's nothing to suggest it isn't real, it's not depicted in a way where we can definitively say that it's not just metaphorical of something, or even (as I later suggest here) that it's a figment of someone's imagination. I will discuss both of these concepts here.
This will read a bit more like a theory because a lot of operates on assumption, but I do attempt to meaningfully analyze evidence to support it. This will primarily focus on Lynn Murray and the potential of her degraded mental state leading to an altered reality.
As with the last post, important information is in bold, episode titles are italicized, and outside sources are hyperlinked. See theory under read more.
Here's the TLDR if you want to see that first; The apparent age discrepancy with Adam Murray (as a baby or toddler) in 1992 is a misconception due to Lynn Murray’s mental/emotional stress (potential postpartum). Adam is 4 in 1992 but Lynn still subconsciously thinks of/treats him as an infant.
It sounds like I'm assuming too much off the bat, but I'll start with this: this is going to be based on the previously made analysis that Adam was 4 during the “Murray V. [???]” case, and will instead try to explain away the reason behind the hints suggesting he is an infant. In essence, it may be possible the baby crying in intruder alert wasn't real, and rather, it's representative of Lynn's mindset. The crib was real, but it can play a different role in the narrative for what it tells us about Lynn. Furthermore, this theory will suggest while it is possible Volume 5 hinted that Jude disregarded the Television & Mirror Destruction Act, was responsible for keeping the TV in the Murray house, and letting Adam watch it, Lynn was also likely complicit in this decision. She may not be fully innocent.
It is known definitively that the crib is real; it is seen on Thatcher's body cam footage in Volume 333. However, in terms of what there is clear "proof" of, it's also most likely that Adam is 4 at this time (concluded from the previous theory). By contrast to this, the footage that seems to imply Adam was an infant when he was taken, in intruder alert, it is not live footage; rather, it is a PSA-styled short with graphics that represent the characters. This may seem like coincidental evidence (or perhaps just Alex limited in what he was able to achieve filming wise at the time), but we know from previous volumes of PSA-styled shorts that have likely been tampered with by alternates (see: the "KILL YOURSELF" section of the original Volume 1). This one could easily have been tampered with as well, and at the very least, likely does not reflect reality.
Also in intruder alert, the neighbors report a "child-like crying", not a baby. This may seem irrelevant since “child-like” could also mean “baby”, but in Volume 333, Lynn is the only one to insist Adam is too young for imaginary friends. Jude seems to think Adam is old enough to have imaginary friends (“I swear if this is just an imaginary friend”). Also during this phone call, Jude questions Lynn about having the TV unplugged as if he believes this is the source of Adam’s distress, which she denies. While both of these comments seem like blithe remarks by Jude, and it's not impossible for an infant to watch TV, it seems more likely that a parent would let their toddler with a hyperactive imagination and the possibility of wandering off watch TV to distract him rather than an infant who can't move and is probably only interested in basic needs. Furthermore the fact that Jude questions Lynn about it must mean one or both parents have previously allowed Adam to watch TV despite the destruction order, where possibly Adam was distressed by this experience. Similarly, if "the Imaginary Friend” alternate is mimicking Adam's voice (Volume 333 during the confrontation with Thatcher), he has to be old enough to talk in full sentences, which is four year old trait (as discussed and sourced in the previous analysis).
I put forth the idea that the baby crying represents how Lynn sees Adam: she still views him as a baby. Perhaps not literally, but something is going on with her, possibly suffering mental and emotional strain from various sources, and she still treats him like a baby even though he's 4. While not overtly clear, postpartum depression can last up to 3 years after a mother has had a baby, a statistic limited only by the fact that their research stopped at 3 years; meaning the depression could potentially go on for longer.
In any case, Lynn’s altered state would cause her perception of the world and her ability to care for Adam to suffer greatly. It would be made even worse by her stress over Adam’s consistent crying at odd hours, Jude’s constant failure to support her, and the presence or exposure to alternates. Therefore, since the baby crying is only present in scenes where Lynn is stressed and worried about Adam, it can be believed that it may be metaphorical to how she views and/or treats him, and not reflective of reality.
This may explain why Adam's room still has a crib despite him presumably being four years old. From a parenting website: a child can be kept in a crib for however long the parent feels is necessary and it does "keep them safe", especially at night; however it deprives them of their independence since they can't leave whenever they need to. If Lynn was having a hard time being the sole caretaker of Adam, it'd explain why she kept him in the crib so long: it's to keep him "safe". More importantly, he's stuck in there and she can go do whatever it is she needs to do without worrying about him wandering off.
Jude and Lynn only divorced in August 1992, however it seems highly likely Jude was not pulling his weight taking care of Adam. It’s implied he lives separately, and almost never comes to the home when he says he will. Furthermore, if the implications in Volume 5 are true to form, he has on occasion allowed Adam to watch TV instead of parenting him, despite seeming to call Lynn out on it during their phone call.
Expanding on the TV’s presence, it is present in Adam’s room and on the night of the Murray case. While Jude may have insisted on keeping the TV, Lynn may have been lying to Jude about the TV being unplugged and was letting Adam watch TV. If watching TV is a problem (because Lynn felt the need to lie), why else would she let Adam watch it if not to keep him occupied and in one place? The TV is next to the crib in the room and low enough to the ground to be in sight of the crib. If Adam was in there, he could still watch it and presumably not fuss that he's stuck in inside the crib. As noted in the previous theory with Adam’s Toddler Stress Assessment Review, it’s likely Jude and/or Lynn were allowing him to watch TV for while, increasing his exposure to an alternate (Six/Stanley) and setting up the circumstances for him to manifest the “Imaginary Friend” alternate.
This would have worked under normal circumstances, but of course, in Mandela, there's nothing more deadly that a TV. Imagine, if you will, Adam was trapped in his crib when an alternate appeared, be it the Imaginary Friend or Six or otherwise. Consider Lynn, having realized that her choice to not only keep the TV in there but also keep Adam in the crib led to him being taken/killed, finally reaching her breaking point. She blames herself for the consequences of her carelessness, so she hangs herself.

She did not need to develop M.A.D. to end her life; she knows what she did.

verbally, the information would be an infohazard, which is information that if known, is harmful, but I’m not gonna nitpick grammar
anyway, the term ‘cognitohazard’ being used directly implies that the information itself is harmful- if a human told another human the information, it would be just as damaging
harmful enough that us, as the viewers, aren’t allowed to see it.
therefore, the information that gives you M.A.D. is anomalous in and of itself.
because she's been acting so weirdly around evelin and i can't figure out what her deal is.
for starters, we know that sarah has to have some idea of what's going on with adam. she knows he's talking to somebody at the end of vol4 ("what's going on adam? who are you talking to?") even though she wouldn't have been able to know that unless she was standing right behind him in his bedroom.
secondly, in catalyst, she starts the conversation with evelin about adam but then immediately pivots and claims he's entirely fine and nothing's wrong even though she and evelin both know something isn't right.
and now, in presto, she's being weird again. firstly, you're telling me you somehow learned how to "hack" into any security camera database you want? and you just do this for fun from time to time? no wonder you have a warrant out.
then we have the call. evelin is clearly terrified and confused, and sarah has to know (at least somewhat) what's going on with adam (see point 1) so why isn't she telling her the truth? oh he just happens to do this every now and then but you've noticed a sudden, significant change in his behavior recently and you're not gonna tell his ex-girlfriend who is clearly concerned and worried about him??
then we cut to SARAH's computer being interrupted by a security cam signal from the mcpd station. how would it know how to access her computer if she hadn't already logged onto it's network? it wouldn't. so she's been searching through the mcpd cam footage herself (would she have seen evelin go to the police station???)
and then of course, we're watching adam and thatcher's conversation at the station through SARAH's computer. there's no universe where she doesn't know what's going on at this point.
so why isn't she telling evelin? i'm glad they're bonding over adam being a dickbag but like... why is she hiding what's really going on? does sarah know that evelin has viewed the tapes (from dave's security cam)? does she know evelin went to the police station?
this puts EVERY SCENE we've ever seen with a security cam in it into a whole new perspective. I always thought it was weird that we were watching security cam footage from the mcpd bc... who was watching the footage? SARAH.
if there's one thing i've learned from following this series, it's that alex doesn't add details for no reason. sarah technically has a motive to be spying on the mcpd. they let her brother's case go cold, and we know for a fact that she's always been pissed about it. so spying on the police fits her character like a glove. but i just can't get past why she's being so cryptic with evelin??

okay next up the hospital scene. oh my godddd. i think maybe the whereabouts of daves eyes will be important later, since they went out of their way to report that they couldnt recover them. and his brain?? can alts like, liquefy your brain now???? what the fuck happened????? maybe we'll get to see. also these nurses. they could be important, maybe, maybe not. also, we also now know that most of mandela's population have migrated to werksha (depsite there also being alt activity there i think), which i believe will be the county we'll be getting to see next.
chat logs with sarah and evelin my favorite girlbosses!!! apparently adam hasn't been talking to anyone for a while (most likely because of the Horrors, maybe since his talk with six) and eve is worried. she already seemed pretty sus about him in vol4, asking him to talk to her, which as far as i know he never did, and especially after she found his TSA results. based on whether or not you think she died in the MCPD station that day, these logs can either take place before or after she paid her visit. Sarah doesn't seem to think anything is wrong, despite it being implied that she hasn't been able to reach him either. either she's lying for whatever reason or she genuinely doesn't really know what's been going on with him. what is her MOTIVE??
TEASER SCENE. this could take place either before or after vol4, but i also believe this could be the "fight" eve was talking about in Jonah's memorial video, where he said some "terrible, awful" things that she "wished he had never told her". she may be afflicted with MAD. it seems that she visited his house at some point and met Preacher ("ADAM WHO IS THAT??"), who may have been using his voice to lure her in. There's been a fuck ton of theories on Preacher and it's connection to Adam, with some people saying it's his overdriven form. Idk how that could work seeing as they seem to be seperate entities, but WHO KNOWS??
WAKE UP THATCHER, I AM YOUR INTUITION. this is the same red text associated with Gabriel, who in vol 4 shared his intentions to kill Thatcher. Was getting him to follow the screams he heard (idk how since he seems to live decently far off from the BPS house) Gabriel's way of attempting to do that?? Also, the return of Gabe telling people to "wake up." Why the hell would Thatcher follow this voice?? just to get away from the alts in his home, or to try and get back a semblance of his old life as a respected lieutenant? Or as some kind of suicide mission, perhaps. (OUGH.)
the next scene. OH DEAR GOD THE NEXT SCENE. ARGHSFHJFS (GOES FERAL). strap in this'll be a long one. This is where Thatcher goes to the house. I noticed how the radio got more and more fucked up the closer he got before it just stopped working, which could be due to alt activity, or i could just be grasping at straws here. He notices the BPS van, which, why would that just be sitting outside the house in plain sight if the BPS are literally wanted by the FBI??? This could be the house they all lived in, or just Adam's house, but when he goes inside it is TRASHED. there is shit just strewn around EVERYWHERE and i may be misremembering but i think thatch steps on broken glass?? anyways he makes his way into the bedroom (which looks to be the same room Eve met Preacher in) and sees Adam sitting beside the bed in a pile of trash (INCLUDING AN EMPTY BOTTLE OF BLEACH that he DRANK, meaning the rest of the trash might be remnants of other attempts), next to a mirror (with a very fucked up reflection, i might add), looking catatonic. This is the guy he's been hunting down for stealing government property and fucking with alternates and BOY has he seen better days.
There is a tape playing called "the fate of the jester", pretty much describing his situation to a T. It describes the loss of humanity to becoming "just a cog in the machine", and no longer being "the hero of the story". Theres a LOT of different interpretations for this, such as him "waking up" and losing himself to his alternate nature, although he's obviously trying to fight it. Throughout the series he was brought up as a very important character, as a tie between the humans and the alternates, even possibly being the "mandela prophet" described at the end of vol4. If he was being set up as such an important character, this may signify the loss of the Mandela's last hope (maybe, idk lol). There's a lot of moments to fall back on in this scene, such as in vol2 when Gabe told him to "wake up" and "don't make me wake the others" (the other kidnapped children turned alternate sleeper agents i believe), the memorial video in vol4 where he screams for something to "please just get the fuck out of my head", the death of his mother in intruder alert, and his talk with Six, which may have been the start of his spiral, and when he began to isolate himself. Anyways, SUSPECT IDENTIFIED there's your FBI wanted tortured blonde man!!

Adam still seems pretty much paralyzed though, which could be from a number of things, maybe all the shit he just did to himself, maybe the FUCKING BLEACH?? idk. his eyes also seemed to have turned black (possibly signifying the beginning of overdriven assimilation)?? im still wondering why Gabriel sent Thatcher here, seeing as i dont think he died, like Gabe said he would to Dave. Did he want Adam or possibly Preacher to kill him? Adam can barely even MOVE, let alone kill anyone. Maybe he wanted him to try and kill himself, at the sight of yet another person he couldn’t save (AGAIN, OUGH.) Adam stops screaming for a little bit to BEG FOR SOMEONE TO KILL HIM before going straight back to screaming, which then dies down into tortured sobs (someone save him…). This was confirmed in a patreon discord server I believe. My opinion is that this is a sign that he doesn’t want any of this and that he never had any bad intentions (or at least didn’t have TOO many bad intentions). IDKKKK ive been rambling way too much- AGHHH IM JUST SO INSANE ABT THIS EPISODE IDK HOW TO END THIS LONG ASS POST THANKS FOR READING BYEEE
As far as quotes, I'd have to say "When you stare into the mirror, you see the same monsters from your bedroom, don't you?" is a very strong contender,because of the way Six says it, and because of the kind of subtle truth it represents.
And for theories, I'd like to bring up this one theory - I don't know if it has a name proper - that basically says that preacher became adam. I like that one because it deepens Adam's character arc more, the nature versus nurture aspect and such.

You literally cannot do anything to record the church or its grounds unless authorized by the commanding officer? 🤔 Who are they? I don't think it's Gabe since he's the church "pastor" and that's it so who knows really.
It also gives the impression imo that Gabriel really does not want people to find out that place is crawling with alternates or him specifically is one. Is there some kind of indoctrination going on there with his "performances" ? Who knows what goes on inside there lmao.
It could also be referring to that field we can see beyond the sign, maybe they're keeping something there too who knows, I hope it gets cleared up later.
