Headcanon: family

Family is the ultimate priority for Staci. She's had good friends and bad friends. She's been poor, and she's been wealthy. She's had score's of boyfriends in her youth, but the one thing that has always been there for her is family. It was for the sake of family that she decided to reform after a reckless young-adulthood. Missing little Christopher's wedding was a hard blow and she worked hard to reconnect with him and his new family. She absolutely adored her younger brother, admired her sister-in-law and doted on her nephew. Losing the three of them in the car crash was devastating, especially since it was ruled an accident, so there was no one to blame. Now that she's found Emrys and it appears that someone, or multiple someones, were behind that tragedy, she's out for blood. No one touches her kin and gets away with it.

Family

"Family is of most importance. Should it come that requirements for care be not met, one must leave them to gain what they can based upon what is best for their needs. If raising a child, for instance, would only place the child in great danger, it is best to place it in the hands of one more suited. Whereas, should a father choose to cover for his child based upon a crime, it is oh very much so difficult to speak to him of it. The love or bond of family is one not broken by anything, except that of abusive nature, or horrid ways. Yet, without such, it is truly the most pleasant."

Family?

Sophia has a pretty small family, just her parents and her brother. Extended family doesn't really come into the equation. Of those three, she really only loves one: her brother.

Her parents never had enough time for their youngest child. It didn't take long for the girl to decide that they weren't worth her time. It stung, but she closed the wound and decided to say 'fuck it'. If they would spend all their time and money on themselves, she couldn't care less about them. Truth was, she hated them, though indifference would've been better for her. To hate, you must care at least a little.

Owen was her sunshine. If he was happy, maybe the world could get better one day. Even with the bombings and her shitty home life, she always had him. He had a light, an innocence, she felt the need to protect. Only, now she doesn't know what she has. He's still Owen just not as innocent as she thought. She's still processing that.

Life before London

Fink lived in his hometown of Salzburg, Austria before moving to London. Generally, he shared his home with a wife and when the divorce went through, he left to a different home nearby but always close to the Cathedral. He had similar habits as he does now, drinking his coffee in the early morning and conducting life in cafés with business associates or clients. Of course, business would take him to various places in Austria, Switzerland and Germany, with the occasional journey into the Czech Republic, but he always returned to his place of origin when matters were settled.

Otherwise, the man lived an open, detailed life in which he was growing old. His decision for London was for the regain of something new. Here he is.

blood

Max has no aversion to blood even though he doesn't have much experience with it. He has never suffered any grave injury himself even though he has seen his peers suffering gushing wounds. 

He also doesn’t see any of its appeal.

Lies.

Ava isn’t fond of lies. She understands that in some circumstances, people feel pressured to lie, but she still doesn’t like it. She doesn’t like when people lie to her, and she doesn’t like lying to other people. Lying is a breach of trust, and trust is something that is important to Ava.

Biggest fear in life as a whole?

Ava’s biggest fear in life, as a whole, is death, cliche as it may sound. She doesn’t think of it constantly, and it doesn’t haunt her, but nonetheless it is the thing that frightens her the most.

One thing Max is absolutely disgusted by, and why.

Sexual & physical abuse. Max knows he has his morals and values in all the darker shades of the rainbow but he has never believed in sexual & physical abuse. Even though he has nothing against general violence, these two types of abuses breached basic human decency and humility which offends him greatly.
