This Venus De’Milo toy is one of the reasons I warn everyone.. don’t get autographs on the plastic!!!! Cardboard last... plastic fades... It reads “For Michele our #1 fan - has brought the first Venus” ... can’t read the word here anymore *cries*.... “To be signed by me! Thanks Michele! Kevin Eastman” This was signed at the Words & Pictures Museum in 1997, during the weekend of the membership party. It was also the second week that the Next Mutation was airing on TV. I was proud of this autograph and kept it hanging up in my room, and as the years went by I noticed it was harder and harder to read. When I go through for autographs now I always ask that they sign the cardboard, many seem confused by this request... but till they get a marker that doesn’t fade on plastic, it’s not worth it to watch your memory disappear before your eyes. I still love this Venus toy, and she’s now on display in the set I made for that project we did here last week.
