JACK IS MY SWEET CHILD but also i will just copy what i’ve said before here:

“jack is a glader that was introduced pretty early in the scorch trials. he wasn’t mentioned much, but he basically just hung around and did what he was told and was nice and helpful and helped carry winston after the whole metal ball thing. when it came to the storm bit with the lightning, he got hit, and minho and thomas decided there was nothing they could do to help him so they left him to keep running. he was lying on the ground, clutching his knee even though the rest of the bottom of his leg was gone, his clothes got burnt off, and so was his hair. it also said ‘and it looked like his eyeballs had…’ (probably done something extremely gross).

so jack is a poor guy who got a very tough break from mr. james dashner basically “

I'm reading the scorch trials at the moment and OM G JACK!!! I have been shocked all day because of that O___O

it's been so long since the last time i read the books that i honestly couldn't remember who jack was but omg i just reread those chapters since he was introduced and poor jack i'm ??? whoa he was literally just introduced he had so much he could have offered he seemed so nice like wow no jack :c poor brave little solider i hope he's in the movie
