Killian didn't like being blindfolded. Who could honestly say that they liked having their sight taken away? Or at least when it was done by force. He liked it even less when he couldn't move to remove the blindfold or teleport away. Just sit there and listen. And for some time, it was silent.

He didn't expect anything but the silence and he expected the words that came even less. Killian felt his heart skip two beats before returning to normal, but his breath stuttered and his eyes burned. He didn't feel like he deserved it, to be forgiven. He had to live with what he'd done, with the compulsion in his chest.

But to hear him say it anyway....A tear or two overflowed and slipped beyond the blindfold down his cheeks.
