T.N.T. TODD!
TNT TODD, another early (1939) superhero from Centaur Publishing, was created by Ecuadorian-American cartoonist Victor Pazmiño. Todd began his career as an “ace G-Man.” One day he mixed T.N.T. with Magnetic X-19, producing a gas that gave him the power to blow things up. The gas also allowed him to fly.
Wearing a steel suit, he blew up gangsters and saboteurs for two episodes before vanishing. He probably blew himself up.
A later Centaur hero, T.N.T., was not related. Incidentally, TNT never appeared in color. In early Centaur titles half the interior pages were in black plus a color (usually red). I gave him a typical Golden Age color scheme.
