self-sufficiency is a concept that has an appeal to me (albeit with the risk of veering into isolationist/lack of empathy issues) but also gets so confusing in how people talk about it. like, a lot of of people are like oh i spent $1000 on my garden this year, i’m really into self-sufficiency like... is giving someone money for things you use to garden more self-sufficient than giving someone money for food? sometimes, if you’re buying stuff for setup that will produce food for a decade, sure, relatively speaking. but like what do you actually mean when you’re talking about being self-sufficient

To those people who took up theatre/acting on their 20s/30s, how did you guys get started and got into plays/roles?

Cause Im curious about those people who dont really have any experience AT ALL with theatre and being in on screen roles. But are now kinda successful at it?
