i think i understand why limited life might not be a favorite in terms of minecraft-hardcore-death-game-blood-sports mechanics bc it was very much an experimental season that was much more lax in terms of death and allowed for a ton more fun + creative kills. it did kind of dull the stakes but i still think it was really fun for a change of pace + just seeing a "what if" scenario that really allowed them to go all out in terms of carnage. i just also think its really funny that this inadvertantly had the opposite effect & limlife resultantly kinda comes off as the funny pantomime slapstick season instead of as particularly angsty
