Team Canada moment sketch celebrating the grand return!!!!
the scene between bobby and major briggs is so insanely touching and literally comes out of nowhere. you just gotta sit there like
I will draw more blue excorsist art!! but I’m currently in finals for school and I’m trying to catch up on the manga and at the same time ive developed a new artstyle I’m so sorry for being bare bones with art I’ve also realized how much the anime changed the exwires and it really shocked me but I love this series so much more now that I’m reading the manga so do expect more of me talking about that lmao
Top: Stuff I've gotten in my PO Box recently. Postcards and notes and zines and tapes and stickers! What could be better? Putting my PO Box address out here and on Instagram (plus reaching out to some old friends) definitely paid off.
Bottom: My most recent library haul. Three DVDs (Lost Highway, Night on Earth, and Female Trouble), four books (Mr. Know-It-All: The Tarnished Wisdom of a Filth Elder by John Waters, The Big Reveal: An Illustrated Manifesto of Drag by Sasha Velour, a how-to of linocut art, and Sermons and Lectures: Both Blank and Relentless and The Obliterations by Matt Hart), and one CD (The Essential Clash).
Honestly, today was a pretty good day. I made myself a sparkling iced coffee and put it in my travel mug, took it with me, drove to the post office while listening to The Clash, mailed off postcards and letters and zines to a bunch of people, checked my PO Box, drove to the library, picked up all that stuff, and then drove home while listening to Fishbone.
have you watched lindsay ellis’s video essay on game of thrones? the video is in two parts. both parts great, but part 2 is much more analytical and in depth. her section on daenerys in the part 2 video so powerful
It's been a long time since I have, so I should definitely find some time to rewatch them. She was indeed spot on as I recall.
Kol: Do you know the first time that I saw you?
Davina: In the record store.
Kol: No, it was before that. I was dead for ages, Davina. And when I woke up it was a mess of manipulation and family drama in a body I didn't know. All this anger I couldn't shake. And that very night I saw you leaving the church with this look on your face like the whole world was on your shoulders. You brushed up against some dead flowers and you stopped. You looked around and you brought those flowers back to life with your magic. And you smiled and something inside of me cracked wide open. I was dead for ages, Davina Claire, and only then did I feel alive again.
