she's pretty serious for the most part, when humor does slip through it's mostly deadpan and sarcasm, occasionally a little self deprecating. a lot of jokes about her death when she comes back in me2-- the kind the crew looks at each other and isn't sure they're allowed to laugh or not... that and a lot of shit like "this sucks so bad i'm going to ki-- (remembers she's died before) come back stronger than ever."

she also doesn't laugh much in the first place, usually the most you'll get from her is a smile. maybe a snort if you're lucky. if she gets really drunk she makes edi pull up footage of people falling or hurting themselves around the normandy and may even giggle.

Here's something from a comic I abandoned. Figured it would work for Mass Effect appreciation week.

For day one I went with: Shepard.

I would like to take a moment and say thank you to Mass Effect for giving me a competent, strong, redheaded protagonist. When ginger ladies in 2007 were usually depicted and associated as being overly sexual or stupid. So thank you ♡ from one ginger to another.
