Rule #14: Be FREE! For the first time in my 27 years, I really understood what being FREE felt like. Long before I started a modeling career or set any personal goals at all, I was just lil ole Tobi. Growing up, I was a chubby kid. I remember getting made fun of because of my weight. It's something I have battled my whole life. Never felt confident in myself physically. I quite often body shamed myself. I still do. It's hard living in a society that makes you feel like if you don't look a certain way, then you're not beautiful enough...not worthy. For a long time, I've hidden under my clothes, said negative things about my appearance, doubted myself, been depressed, cried myself to sleep. For the first time in my life, the day before my 27th birthday, I found the confidence to wear a bikini and shoot. It was the most courageous thing I have ever personally done. I was so nervous I won't lie but the feeling of fulfillment and freedom was priceless. To anyone that ever doubts or body shames themselves because you don't feel beautiful enough, know for one that you are not alone. I did this for me...but I also did this for you. I, too, have my own insecurities. But know that you are beautiful, uniquely created and there is absolutely no one in the world like you. AIN'T NO FEELING LIKE BEING FREE!
