I wonder if Glam's adversion to pets is because of his upbringing. His family seems to take cleanliness very seriously. It's universally considered a part of discipline. Lightbulbs were never allowed to burn out. Bedrooms were inspected often. While his father whipped his wrist for hanging out with Ches, he even mentioned something along the lines of "I can tell you were running in this suit, it's a delicate cotton. You know not to run in it"
Yes, he rebelled. But even when he was an actual rockstar, he hated clutter. Even chalked off his part of the hotel room and flipped at Ches for letting a sock get on his side (which was flawlessly cleaned and organized) (s2ep3)
In episode 8 even his combs and grooming tools are laid out like surgical tools. And he barely has any bedding that could look cluttered.
I wonder if even as an adult he feels a sense of dread seeing a mess be left alone. Perhaps it's why he's always seen cleaning or cooking something if he's not working. Even healed trauma leaves a residue
