Spadaro has roughly a hundred crabs in the Florida Keys, and just shy of 200 at a new breeding facility in Sarasota. He’ll start dropping them into the ocean as soon as the end of the year or in early 2024, he said.
But there’s one step before then, and it may involve ... hand puppets?
Oh yeah I saw another tumblr post about this a bit ago!
Hi! Do you know of any discord servers or other communities for housebound people?
i don’t, that’s something i’d definitely be interested in as well! i know some other housebound folks from other disabled servers i’m in but not anything specific to us…
i remember reading about #TheHomeBodiesCollective happening on twitter a few years back but i’m not really on twitter so idk if that’s still active
would love recs if anyone knows of a server etc or starts one!

the name of this word document is "Castlevania but Star Trek telepathy":
But the moment his mental claws scraped against the Belmont’s outer shields the man’s mind vanished. If he hadn’t felt the impression of the Speaker’s mind behind him, he’d have thought he’d gone temporarily mind-blind. The Belmont grinned up at him. “You were saying?”
30?
Hm, you picked an interesting question... this one became a bit of a downer, sorry about that!
30. Biggest surprise while writing this year?
I'm gonna use this question as an opening to remark on something I noticed about my works this year, actually- although I have a lot of uploads, most of what I posted is old writing reuploaded. I've got so, so many fics in progress, SO many that are thiiis close to completion- and yet they may never see the light of day, because for whatever reason the perfectionism has been crimping my style worse than ever this year :c

something that might help you befriend me... if there's science fiction we both like, I'd love to talk about that. if it's books I can catch up by reading—I read pretty fast x)
15?
15. Are there words, phrases, mannerisms or scenes you tend to use a lot?
Heh. I don't know how often this actually appears in my writing because I try to edit it out wherever I catch myself doing it, but I use a lot of "For a moment, [description of heavy-imagery action]." I think it might be an Austin Walker-ism, actually? I just really enjoy zooming in on weird or vivid details in the middle of chaos. 'S just how my brain works I guess!
Other things I love doing: LOTS of alliteration. fuckin' love it when the letters line up like this.
Your tagging system is impeccable. I keep scrolling through tags that look interesting, getting distracted by other tags that look interesting, and next thing I know it's 3 days later and I'm hopelessly lost and my food supplies are dwindling
Thanks, I pride myself on it!
