Today’s Action: 1D Writer Teddy Geiger comes out as Trans and gets support from Niall
On October 27th, “Little Black Dress” and “Where Do Broken Hearts Go” co-writer Teddy Geiger took to instagram to answer a fan’s question about her recent physical changes by explaining that she has started MTF transition at the beginning of October. This public answer was the first time she talked about it outside of her personal environment. She also posted her answer to her Instagram a little bit after.
As is visible in the likes section, Niall worlessly, but sstill very publicly showed his support for her by liking her post.
For Today’s action, we’d therefore like you to do both of the following.
1.) Show Teddy some love and most of all support for her coming out as transgender by commenting on her IG post, reaching out to her on Twitter or retweeting our tweet to her here.
2.) Reach out to Niall on his Twitter for using a public platform like Instagram to show support to a former co-writer and friend of his or retweet our tweet to him here.
All eyes were on Harry Styles on Tuesday night at the 2017 ARIA Awards.
And as he took to the stage to accept the award for Best International Act, the 23-year-old British singer chose to acknowledge Australia's recent 'yes' result of the marriage equality survey.
"Every time I have ever been in Australia over the last several years everyone, there has always been so wonderful to me," he began.
"So thank you so much for having me and having me back. And congratulations on your recent political decision," he added.

During his concert at the Enmore Theater in Newtown/Sydney on November 23rd, Harry used his public platform to acknowledge the amount of rainbow and other pride flags in the audience and address the public vote.
Earlier this month, Niall has shown support for the turnout of the public vote by liking Sam Smith’s Instagram post about it.
We want to thank Harry for using both of the opportunities given to him to take to a stage in Australia to voice his support on the outcome of the postal vote. The results can change the future for LGBTQ+ couples and people in Australia and better their rights regarding family and marriage.

Just shortly before Harry Styles' Los Angeles show at the Greek theatre on September 20th, his stylist Harry Lambert posted an instagram story containing this picture:
This morning he also posted it as a picture post with the caption "Love is all you need 🌈❤"
The flag was crafted by @thelarryhug and brought to the show as part of their participation for Rainbow Direction.
It's the first time a Rainbow Direction participants got so openly acknolewged and featured by any of 1Ds crew members and we want to celebrate that!

Today’s Action: Liam Payne tweets his support for LGBTQ+ rights in reaction to Trump’s anti-trans stance regarding the US military
Earlier tonight, Liam took to Instagram with a picture of a quote by Thomas Jefferson, captioning it #lgbtqrights. He also briefly explained the reasoning behind it in a reply to a comment he got from a fan.
Liam’s instagram post is referring to a recent tweet by US President Trump that said he would ban transgender people from serving in the military.
By doing so, he’s using his public attention to support how it’s a fundamnetal right for trans people to be free to ‘pursue their happiness’.
