Q. What left a great impression on you at the Festival last year? At the large Yokohama Arena stage, everyone's cheer and enthusiasm swelled like a big wave, and that felt really great. What I personally enjoyed was Onosaka-san and Koyasu-san's Golden Victory Corner. It was really fun to be able to watch my seniors utilize their skills and techniques, and to give a performance to follow up their free talk. Although it was difficult to do a one-man-play (laughs). To be made fun of by Koyasu-san, whom I admire as a teacher from my heart, was also a great honour.
Q. Among the characters that will appear this time, which one captivates you? Since there have been so many titles after Vesperia, I look forward to interacting with the people from the new titles. And above all, this time Toriumi-san and I are the only representatives from Vesperia, so I'd like to show a great combination display with him. Q. If you had a confrontation with the character you play, what battle tactics would you employ? I'm pretty sure I won't be able to win with frontal attacks (laughs). If I were to have any chance of winning, I'd need to take advantage of his stubbornness, which can be considered both his weakness and strength. Using my specialty in the arts of teasing (laughs), I'll make fun of him and wear him out, then strike through that gap of weakness. If I were to draw out his playful side... Instead of fighting, we'd probably end up getting excited (laughs). Q. Please convey your enthusiasm and appeal points for the Festival to everyone at the event. As a representative of Vesperia, I'd like to spread the Vesperia love to everyone. There are many who will be with us for the first time, so I'll work hard to raise a new festival mood for all. Everyone, please enjoy yourself to the utmost!
