Ingredients: 1 block tofu, pressed and cut into cubes. 2 tablespoons cornstarch. 2 tablespoons soy sauce. 1 tablespoon rice vinegar. 1 tablespoon sesame oil. 1 tablespoon maple syrup. 1 teaspoon grated ginger. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 2 tablespoons sesame seeds. 2 green onions, chopped for garnish.
Instructions: Preheat oven to 400F 200C. In a bowl, mix cornstarch with a pinch of salt. Toss tofu cubes in cornstarch until evenly coated. Place tofu cubes on a lined baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, maple syrup, ginger, and garlic. Drizzle sauce over crispy tofu and toss to coat evenly. Sprinkle sesame seeds over tofu. Garnish with chopped green onions. Serve hot and enjoy!
