Sorry I CANNOT stop thinking about Eda in the timeskip and how she’s embracing. Every part of herself. Breaking the cycles that hurt her. I. Akdhdkdhdj.
A character who’s heavily implied to have had ADHD, or at least be neurodiverse in some way that caused school systems to fail her, becoming a headmaster of a school where you KNOW they would better accomodate people!!! (+ having 2 kids, 3 if you count Hunter, who have to use magic in a very different way than “normal” kids would make her very understanding of teaching people with magical disabilities)
A character who was screwed over by the authoritarian government time and time again, that exercises control over people from childhood, namely through school and limiting knowledge, becoming someone who can empower everyone with knowledge about wild magic and history!!! Educating kids on things that were previously demonized and giving them the resources they need to grow and succeed!!!
And her pirate hook. Just. It feels like she’s showing off her disability and being proud of it! Making it cool and badass! That means a lot for someone who’s struggled not only with her disability itself, but being ostracized and shunned for it!!!
TL:DR Eda Clawthorne the woman that you are I everything they did with her character so much—
