Toht's melting face is one of the most iconic shots in Raiders, yes, but I do think it would have been nice if Marion had been the one to defeat him. He is more a villain to Marion than to Indy, and it would have been nice if she got to have some cool moment of idk. Pushing him off the cliff.

(Fun fact, Toht was meant to die in the truck chase scene, it was changed pretty late to the filming of the movie, which might explain why he doesn't really do anything apart from getting killed after the chase, for example he is missing on the scene on Bantu Wind when Rene and the Nazis take the Ark and Marion.)
