Tajik Persian has a few phonetic and phonological idiosyncrasies which speakers and learners of Iranian Persian may not be immediately used

قدر: Taj. қадар (qadar) vs. qadr, hence Ir. چقدر (čeghadr, or colloquially, čeghad is Taj. чи қадар (či qadar, which in colloquial Tajik gets shortened to čiqa).

I like how both dialects have admitted that the final cluster -dr is kind of awkward, and have smoothed it out in different ways - one dropping the r, one adding a vowel between the consonants

Man With No Shadow

Beam me up, Scotty! Artist Makoto Tojiki transforms a 3D LED grid into a pixel person reminiscent of the Star Trek teleportation machine. Titled "Man With No Shadow," Tojiki's LED man was exhibited at the Salone Satellite event in Italy in 2009. Here's a poetic quote from Tojiki about his work - "An object is seen when our eyes capture light that is reflected from the object. If we extract just the light that is reflected from 'something,' are we still in the presence of that 'something?' Using contours of light, I try to express this 'something.'"
