When your Goddesshood rates as little more than Teddybear status.
"what in the heck is going on here?" [Tenchi Muyo Ep.19]
One of the cuter things in later Tenchi stuff is that Mihoshi is shown fishing a lot. Its a nice little addition to her, fits her relaxed nature. I also like that she hangs out with Tokimi. I should draw Tokimi more.
Been thinking about just doing daily sketches for warmups. Probably a lot of Mihoshi, but others too.
My introduction to harem anime! No, but really I loved the mix of sci-fi and fantasy, with Japanese aesthetics sprinkled into the mix. The original OVA had wonderful, unique, and well-rounded characters. And to this day I really enjoy the depth of the lore, and the fact everyone is basically related to each other. With that in mind I decided to pay tribute to the goddesses of creation, featuring Lady Tokimi front and center. Drawn and inked by hand with micron pens and black prismacolor on 5.5" x 8.5" mixed media paper.
12.17 (C93) Kajishima Onsen Omatsuri Zenjitsu no Yoru Tenchi Ban -- Bride Game Sketches
Doujin from last December is scanned. This is mostly composed of Tenchi Muyo: Bride Ryōran (Abundance of Brides) sketches from the online game. But now we can see the whole body rather than just the upper half or 2/3s. About 46 pages (2 blanks). Heaps of text, I'm guessing bride game material and an afterword on the future of Tenchi. Get it here and any further discussion on it: http://www.uselesstenchi.org/Forum/index.php?topic=1337.msg47693#msg47693
