The adventure begins as soon as the elevator door opens at 7F. You will have to pass the skeleton and walk through the darkness to reach the entrance where you must put your hand in the guillotine hole in order to open the prison gate (Don't be scared! They won't bite you!). Once the gate opens, you go inside and wait for the lady wardens to put the handcuffs on you (only 1 person from the group). #CITYTEST TOKYO EAT | RESTO ARTY

Situé dans le no man’s land du 16ème arrondissement, le restaurant Tokyoeat est abrité par le fameux centre d’Art contemporain Parisien aka Palais de Tokyo.

J’éprouve beaucoup de méfiance envers les lieux aux activités plurielles, et j’ai une grande crainte à l’idée de dîner dans un musée depuis une expérience traumatisante au Saut du Loup. Considérant que le Palais de Tokyo offre une manne inespérée de visiteurs à ce restaurant, j’avais l’appréhension d’avoir devant moi une assiette fainéante et peu inspirée. Bon, j’avais tort, mais pas complètement.

La salle est sympathique, les voûtes en béton brut s’accordant étrangement avec des soucoupes lumineuses, les tables étant plutôt intimes malgré la cacophonie ambiante. Le service et l’accueil sont agréables à la condition d’apprécier la familiarité, le tutoiement et la désinvolture, ce qui n’est pas mon cas.

Le carte, créative, donne envie, une sorte de melting pot ethnico bobo régressif, j’ai goûté ce soir le fish & chips pendant que mon amie s’orientait vers le couscous végétarien. Je ne me suis pas attardé sur les vins, étant plus un expert en coca zéro qu’en rouge millésimé. Moins de 5 minutes après avoir pris ma commande, les 2 plats sont servis, ce que je trouve extrêmement suspect. Malgré tout, rien à dire sur la qualité des produits ou sur l’exécution. Mention spéciale pour les desserts, signés Hermes Agboton, son riz au lait ultra crémeux et son biscuit choco-noisette auront eu raison de moi ce soir là.

Pour 2 plats, 1 coca, 2 verres de rouge et un dessert à partager, la note fut de 44 €, ce qui reste donc accessible à toutes les bourses, même la mienne, c’est dire.
