Why is no-one talking about the fact that Caranthir too died in the second kinslaying?
Whilst Celegorm and Curufin died in each others arms, perhaps Caranthir was far away... Beyond the reach of his brothers.
Perhaps he had received a fatal wound and his life was fading away slowly. Perhaps his pride kept him from asking for help; maybe he was too embarrassed to ask for help?
The blood that kept his face red- the blood that boiled quick to anger; perhaps it drained out of him slowly and painfully, leaving behind a lifeless hröa.
Why is no-one talking about the fact that Caranthir could have died a lonely death?
the entire LoTR fandom on tumblr:
“i love Tolkien’s work because it shows that straight males can be gentle, and loving! they can kiss each other on the forehead, and call each other pet names as ways of comforting each other, without being gay! f*** yeah! f*** toxic masculinity!”
but, also (3.5 seconds later):
“SAM AND FRODO FUCKED.”
