Richard Briers and Felicity Kendal as Tom and Barbara Good from The Good Life (1975-1978)
I know Richard Briers mostly because of him having been in so many of Kenneth Branagh's films (Henry V, Much Ado and Hamlet just to mention the ones I've seen) and oddly enough Shakespeare also made me (years ago) acquainted with Felicity Kendal who was Viola in the BBC Television Shakespeare production of Twelfth Night (and yes, I've just realised that Sinead Cusack was Olivia in that version!).
So what a pity I didn't come across them earlier in The Good Life which I've only now come across. I've devoured the first two series in as many days and eagerly looking forward to the next two. Plus they're quite adorable as Tom and Barbara (and it's hard not to have a slight girl-crush on Felicity Kendal when she's in her wellies and dungarees).
