Tony: *walks in balancing a big ass tree with his iron suit flight stabelizers* Finaly! Time to set up the tree for christmas!
Loki: *looks up from his book* Oh yes, time to sit in front of a dead tree and eat horrible candy out of socks.
Tony: *closes his eyes in disbelief* In the spirit of christmas I will pretend I didn't hear a word that left your mouth.
Loki: *grins*
Tony: *gets the tree positioned, fights himself for a second* Ok, I can't...You know what. For somebody who doesn't like christmas your helmet sure looks like horns...REINDEER GAMES!
Loki: *smirks* And your suit looks a lot like a santa dress
You: *laughing, leaning in the door frame* you should watch and listen to yourself bickering with each other...
Tony: He started it..
Loki: You walked in all jolly with a dead tree...
Tony: You know what. I'll just call you grinch from now on. *Walking away to get the decorations. Mumbling loud enough for Loki to hear* Some gods are not a gift to mankind but a pain in the ass!
Loki: *hiding a chuckle*
You: You can't stop teasing him, can you.
Loki: Why should I, it is SO much fun! *walking towards you, a missletoe appears above your head*
Loki: *grins* Oh! Would you look at that... *grabs you for a kiss*
You: *laughs* Mischievous...*melting into his kiss*

Christmas eve...
Tony: *walks into the room* OH DEAR GOD! LOKI! *hides his eyes* Why on earth are you lying under the damn tree like that??
Loki: I wanted to remind you THAT I am, infact, a gift!
Tony: ... DON'T MOVE THAT HELMET!
Loki: Then walk away and send Y/N in...actually THIS present was for her...*grins*
Tony: Hey, so you are secretly playing santa...I KNEW you did not hate christmas!
Loki: Stark! Don't make me throw that helmet in your direction. But if you don't leave NOW...I will!
Tony: *turns to get out, shouting* HEY Y/N ! WOULD YOU HELP ME OUT IN THE LIVINGROOM...

You: *walking in* You need hel....Oh my...LOKI!
Loki: Care to unwrap your present, pet?

Part 1 Part 2 Part 3
(Y/N) had driven them to the diner. Loki had tried his hardest not to stare at her, he was still convinced that this was all a dream. They had taken a seat in the corner of the diner and spoken politely until their orders were brought to the table.
The light from the neon in the window made (Y/N)’s eyes shine - not like they needed it, she was beautiful regardless. Loki smiled at her and she crooked her head to one side.
“What?” She asked.
“Nothing,” He tired to bite back his grin. “I just can’t believe you came tonight.”
“I wouldn’t have missed it. Loki,” She took a breath. “The song you sang. The way you talked bout me-”
“All true.” He cut in and she blushed.
“And yet,” She smirked, one eyebrow lifting. “It took you over a month to finally text me.”
Loki sighed and hung his head dramatically. “I meant to call you sooner.” He looked up at her sheepishly through his onyx hair.
“Sure you did.” She quipped with a grin.
“Really,” He chuckled. “I couldn’t find the courage to hit call.”
“Do I scare you?”
“In a way, yes.” He said, honestly.
“How so?” She wondered out loud, taking a sip from her soda. She hadn’t meant for her previous question to elicit such a genuine reply from him.
“You’re perfect.” He said in awe.
Her eyes lowered and she picked at her food with her fork. “No one’s perfect, Loki.”
“What makes you think you’re not special enough to break the mold?” Loki had meant it in a light-hearted way but his brows furrowed when he saw the discomfort in her downcast expression.
“Monsters, remember?” She said solemnly.
Loki gave her a gentle smile and straightened in his seat. “I seem to recall a very wise woman telling me that the term monster is relative.”
(Y/N) nodded her head. “I don’t know how wise she actually is.”
“Oh, you can trust me. She knows what she’s talking about. She’s a very reserved person and, whereas some people think that makes her seem untrustworthy, it actually gives her a unique opportunity to be highly observant.” Loki smirked.
(Y/N) chewed on the inside of her lip but didn’t say anything.
“I have been around more women than I ever cared to and, in my years of playing with the band and meeting countless fans, never have I met anyone like you.” Loki looked at (Y/N) and wasn’t aware of how endearing he was coming across but (Y/N) smiled and that was all that mattered. “You said to me that I didn’t fit in with the rest of the band, that I was searching for something.”
(Y/N) nodded, remembering the conversation they had in Loki’s studio.
“You were right,” He continued. “Tonight was the first time I have ever played solo. I’ve been thinking about it for years but I never did because I never had reason to. Until I met you.” He pointed a long slender finger at her and smiled. “I played three new songs tonight, yours and the two that followed. I never would have done that if you hadn’t called me out.”
“I didn’t mean to call you out.” She said worried.
“I’m glad you did.” Loki pushed his plate out of the way and leaned on the table, taking (Y/N)’s hands. “I owe you everything but, firstly, I owe you my deepest thanks.”
Not having any other response, (Y/N) muttered an embarrassed, “You’re welcome.”
Loki let go of her hand and sat back in his seat. “So,” He said a little louder than he had meant. “Know of any other wonderful Brooklyn secrets?”
(Y/N) blushed and was relieved at the subject change. “There’s a park not too far away that has a great view of the bridge.” He sentence was more of a question.
“Sounds perfect.” He encouraged. He pulled out his wallet and paid for both of their dinners. Loki stood from his seat and offered her his hand to help her slide out of the booth. She accepted silently and felt a blush turn her cheeks hot.
Loki escorted her out of the small diner, his hand resting on the spot on her back where her tattoo rested. His thumb rubbed the spot twice and she turned her head to look up at him.
“Which way?” He asked before she could make her remark about his hand.
“This way,” She tilted her head over her shoulder. “It’s close enough that we could walk, if you’re up for it?”
“A walk sounds perfect.” He smiled.
Their walk was pleasant, filled with simple smiles and light laughter. There was an air of fantasy surrounding the two; as if the world ceased to be horrible just for their sake.
(Y/N) felt like an idiot for always smiling but Loki had done something for her that no one else had. His song meant more to her than she had been able to express at dinner. She wasn’t even sure if she’d have had the words, anyways. Which is probably why she was so grateful when he had cut in.
A sharp and chilly breeze blew at them both and (Y/N) leaned in closer to Loki.
He held her tight and was thankful that the chill didn’t bother him so much. Just being with her gave him a peace he’d long since forgotten. She reminded him that there were reasons to strive to be more than he was. She was his reason.
Upon reaching the edge of the park that butted up against the river, (Y/N) exhaled and the hollowing of her torso cause him to study her further. Her eyes were fixed on the Brooklyn Bridge, completely washed in awe.
“This is my favorite place to be at night.” She confessed. She leaned on the railing in front of her and in doing so pulled away from Loki.
He felt a sting at the loss of contact. He stood close beside her and his arm rested against hers. “You don’t come out here alone often, do you?”
She huffed. “Why? You worried about me being alone in the dark?”
“I suppose I don’t hold that right, yet.” He chuckled at himself.
“Not yet.” She said with hope in her tone.
“Is that something you might want?” Loki’s sudden question took them both by surprise. “I’m sorry,” He flushed. “I didn’t mean to sound so-”
“No,” It was her turn to interrupt him. “It’s fine. I just thought you’d be more…”
“More what?”
“Cautious, about asking a woman out. As easy as being in your company is, in all reality, we hardly know each other.” She shrugged after finally finding the right words.
Loki bit his bottom lip for a moment. “Normally, I think I am.”
There was a comfortable silence as (Y/N) rested her head against his shoulder.
Loki noticed the reoccurring ease of not talking with her. It was as if she were in his head and he were in hers. He didn’t need to say that there was something different about her that made him feel desperate to be with her. He didn’t need to hear her say how grateful she was for his song, somehow he knew.
He didn’t need to continue on about how the last month of not speaking to her tormented him, how his hands would shake when he thought of texting or calling her. She didn’t have to say how happy she was to finally not be alone in the park.
And he also understood her reservations about being with someone like him. He traveled constantly, women threw themselves at him, his brother constantly teasing him about not sleeping around. He knew dating him came with some serious trust and he didn’t know if she wanted that.
“Loki?” Her sweet voice pulled him back to reality.
“Yes?”
“What if it is something I want?” She never looked up at him, afraid of rejection.
Loki took a moment to gather his thoughts. “Well,” He started. “If it were something you wanted, we could take things slow. I know being with someone like me would be hard but I can tell you, and I hope you would believe me, that I wouldn’t ever do anything to hurt you, purposefully.”
She turned and stared up at him, now. “Like what?”
“I’m on the road a lot and Thor really does love the attention he gets from fans, but I swear to you that I don’t behave like that. I indulged in it once or twice in the beginning but, I found it fruitless.”
(Y/N) tilted her head a little, curiously.
“I mean there wasn’t any satisfaction in being with someone I know didn’t care about anything other than my name.”
“Unfortunately, you’re not alone in being used.” She smiled sadly.
No, not her. How could anyone not fall completely in love with a woman like her? Who would have the audacity-
“It’s okay, it’s in the past.” She grabbed his hands.
“It’s not okay.” Loki couldn’t help himself and he held her face in his hands placing a firm kiss on her forehead. His heart stopped as he finally registered the bold gesture of comfort and he had half a mind to pull away but, when (Y/N) grabbed tight to his wrists and pressed her body closer to his, he knew he hadn’t over stepped.
His lips ghosted over her skin as he continued to speak. “You deserve only the best and I know I have my monsters but I swear, if you’d let me, I would do everything in my power to be my best for you.” He kissed her forehead again and he heard a faint hum come from her.
He leaned down and kissed her temple. He leaned further and kissed her cheek and (Y/N) took a sharp breath at his closeness. She turned towards him and the corner of her mouth brushed his lips. How sweet she was.
Loki pulled back just enough to lock eyes with her, an unspoken request for permission.
A silent confirmation.
His eyes darted down to her lips and he could feel the trembling of her palms, even though she tried holding on to him to mask it.
Loki’s phone blared a ringtone and they both jumped. Loki sighed and rested his forehead on hers. He took one of his hands from her face and pulled out his phone.
“I’m sorry,” He huffed. “It’s my brother.”
(Y/N) let go of the hand that remained on her face and pulled back. “It’s okay, take it.”
Loki felt a surge of hatred for his brother. Once again he was the cause that severed an almost intimate connection.
“What?” He said harshly as he placed the phone to his ear.
“Brother!” Thor shouted so loud that Loki jerked the phone from his ear. “You must come and rejoin us!! Fandral has taken three women back to his room and Heimdall-”
Loki ended the call with a heavy thumb and a sigh. “I’m sorry.” He apologized again.
(Y/N) nodded. “Is he okay?”
“He won’t be when I get a hold of him.” Loki grumbled.
(Y/N) chuckled. “He has a terrible habit for ruining moments doesn’t he?”
Loki didn’t answer. How many times could he apologize?
“Well, really it’s okay-”
Loki grabbed (Y/N)’s face and their lips connected with a spark. She inhaled in surprise but grabbed his jacket and pulled his body to hers. She arched her torso into him and he allowed one of his hands to wrap around her.
Loki’s tongue slipped between his lips to prod at (Y/N)’s. Instantly, she complied. Loki took his time, savoring the taste of her lips and mouth. It was a euphoria that he’d never known before.
One of (Y/N)’s hands snaked up to his hair and she held a fist full of onyx in her palm. He moaned into her mouth and (Y/N) held back a whimper.
A break to breathe and he was on her again. Only, this time his kiss chaste and brief. He refused to let her go this time and he rubbed his thumb over the jacket that covered her back as they both breathed heavily to catch their breath.
“Wha-” (Y/N) tried to ask but she couldn’t find the words, flustered and desperate for air.
“I wasn’t about to let another moment be ruined by my idiot brother. And I’ve wanted to do that since the moment I first saw you.”
She looked into his eyes and smiled. “Really?”
“Absolutely.” He grinned and kissed her again.
(Y/N) giggled and pulled back, but it didn’t stop Loki. He kissed her cheek and under her jaw. Down her neck and back up.
“Loki, stop,” She laughed and tried to push him away. “We’re not the only people here!”
“We’re the only ones I care about.” He hummed close to her ear with a grin. Of course, she was the modest type.
“How about we end the night at my place?” She tried to compromise.
Loki pulled back sharply and gave her a shocked look.
“Don’t get too excited,” She rolled her eyes and she took his hand and tugged him behind her. “I’m not that kind of fan remember.” She winked. “You’ll have to go back to your hotel soon. I’m just inviting you in for coffee.”
He smiled behind her and eagerly followed. No, she wasn’t that kind of fan, she wasn’t that kind of woman. He didn’t care if she sent him home after ten minutes, that would be ten more minutes he got to be with her. Ten more minutes that he could hold her, feel her warmth and kiss her.
And again a short video. And again without a sound. Can anyone suggest a good site where can add sound to video? I cant download third-party programs to the computer at work. Thank you in advance! And enjoyable viewing... Maybe. I hope.
