Photography Terms
Aperture - Size of the Opening of the lease essentially (For example f/1.8 is a large gape and f/22 visa versa).
Shutter Speed - How long the shutter stays open, letting in more light - too much however and the image can blur without a tripod.
Exposure - Essentially how much light is let in, this is controlled by ISO, SS and aperture size.
Snoot - Cute little light cover. Allows for focused light with controlled radius.
Nikon - Easy to figure out.
Canon - HOWDOIUSETHISTHING
ISO - The measurement for how sensitive the camera is to light.
Focus - Determines what is ‘sharp’ in terms of the image. The user can determine if everything is in focus or if specifics are left blurry.
Depth of Field - How much is left in focus and how much isn't. For example a big depth of field will have more of the image in focus.
Self Portrature - Photography of yourself, usually good to set up the shoot in studio to the way in which you'd like with the camera properly adjusted. Can be done with remote triggers.
Landscape - Photography of Scenery (Be it city or fields of grass), usually loved by google, desktop wallpapers and Peter Eastman
Bokeh - The orbs light create in photos when left out of focus, used for , like, every phone wallpaper ever.
Hot Shoe - The little click in bit ontop of a camera for the flash. Also known as a Flash shoe. Sadly nothing to do with shoes, feet or socks.
