Tomoe taught me that you don’t have to be a warrior to be a strong female character.

i think kenshin should get to grow some radishes personally
Alrighty I'm going to post something that a sweet person loves and has gotten me to love and that I too now ship.
It's tomoe x kenshin from samurai x
Disclaimer:I don't own any of the art and I don't know any of the artists, if you know them and they would like their art taken down let them contact me through this blog and I'll gladly oblige. Also if you know the artist go ahead and put their name in the comments of this post and where to find them and more of their work because I honestly don't know them and would like credit to be given, and see more of their amazing work.😁❤️ Now enjoy.
Ahhh these are all s'cute also when reposting someone else's art, I always try to give credit, and I never tamper with the image, I keep watermarks and everything so how you see the image is how I found them on the net.
hello!!! looking for ruroken / rurouni kenshin fans, am fully aware of the atrocious thing that happened but while utterly against it, like you all, am fully invested in kenshin himura / rurouni kenshin as a whole. kenshin’s been my favorite character since i knew how to even read books or watch tv and that isn’t going to change because of that.
i’d like to meet fellow individuals in the community...if they’re alive! and still continue to love it since that can’t be taken from you or me, right? please give this a like or reblog and i’ll check you out, thanks! i’ll probably be setting up a fic post / prompt request since i’d like to contribute to the community ( if it exists !!!)
What she says: I’m fine.
What she means: No, I’m not okay. I’m still depress about the tragedy of Tomoe and Kenshin. I’m sad about the fact that they didn’t have a future together. I’m sad about the fact that their love story ended, even though it made Kenshin the better man that he is today. I’m sad about the fact that even though Kenshin imagines Tomoe embracing him as he fights the shogunate, it still doesn’t compare to the physical existence of Tomoe and their real intimate moment they had together at the Otsu village. I’m sad about the fact that as Kenshin mourns over Tomoe’s dead body, they still couldn’t be together for a longer amount of time. I’m sad about the fact that their story ended with Kenshin burning the house they lived in as he walks away to fight for the imperialists. I’m sad about the fact that Kenshin can only be with Tomoe in his memories as he honors her by taking the vow to never kill again while protecting people as a wanderer.
Just right before Kenshin started narrating the story about his past, he referred to Tomoe as “Himura Tomoe, this one’s wife.” It made me think that in all those ten years when he was a wanderer he still considered himself married to her.
