Better Half - Krennic/Kleya - Star Wars: Andor - 62,647 words - Chapters 9/??? - Rated E - Ongoing

Of course Better Half is sitting here at the top. Because it's what I'm currently invested and because I'm having too much fun writing it. The idea came to me after I saw their interaction in S2E06 I just knew I had to write something for them. S2E11 cemented this idea fully into my brain. Pair some enemies to lovers plus darksoulmate tropes in the middle and lots of smut and there you have it. Also sprinkle some age gap because why not? Writing with Krennic and Kleya has been an awesome experience and their dynamic is really fun to write. He's a sly bastard and she def not impressed by him. I didn't really think people would pay attention to this fic. I really thought I'd be writing for a crowd of one (myself in case it's not clear haha), but it's been a fun ride and I'm glad more people joined me in appreciating this weird lil ship.

Summary: “We should have killed Krennic while we were up there.”

Although they both laugh, Kleya can’t shake the sinking feeling that dominates her entire being.

“That’s the spirit,” she replies to lighten the mood. Because whether the prospect of killing her soulmate fills her with dread, sooner or later, she knows she will have to let her better—more likely worse—half go. Unless she wants to put Luthen’s life at risk—her life at risk, their work and the entire rebellion with it.

Thirst - Enishi/Kaoru - Rurouni Kenshin - 3,833 words - Chapters: 1/1 - Rated E - Complete

Thirst was written for a Brazilian Project called Aniverse. They had a theme/prompt and it was Water. I could choose between a few prompts, but I decided to go with this one. Enishi has been a favorite villain of mine for a huge while now and I always loved the idea of him and Kaoru, so why not write an oneshot for them? It takes place after he kidnaps her in the Jinchuu saga, but in here Kenshin never goes rescue Kaoru, he stays trapped in his own mind. And Enishi and Kaoru grow closer together over the course of the months they spend together by themselves in the island. It's a toxic relationship (because I mean, look at Enishi, he's batshit crazy) in which Enishi can't escape his own thoughts and need for revenge and never gets to really love Kaoru the way she needs him to. It's written only in Portuguese and I need to finish translating it. But here goes summary in both English and Portuguese.

Summary: Sua ausência e abundância, ambas, podiam matar. Ou pior: levar uma pessoa à loucura. Infelizmente, um homem como Enishi, que sempre vivera no limiar entre a vida e a morte, os extremos pouco importavam, porque ele nunca conhecera — ou conheceria — o meio termo. Lie to Me - Armitage Hux/Reader - Star Wars: Sequels - 122,547 words - Chapters: 25/30 - Rated E - Ongoing

My first SW fic in this profile. The reason why I created this profile. I was coming from a massive writer's block and this fic saved my ass, like literally. I'd never written a xReader story and I kept seeing everyone reduce xReader stories to self-inserts and shallow plots, but I'd seen some amazing gems and I wanted to try my hand. It taught me to focus more on psychological aspects than looks. It also became a sort of character study, with a huge deal of Hux backstory. I think I did a good job and I’m in awe of how many people engaged with this fic. In here I was finding my foot with this thing of writing villain x heroine and it became quite clear to me that Hux would stop at nothing to become the head of the First Order, even if he had to choose between it and someone he loves. Also memory loss, one of my fav tropes ever. Need I say more?

Spellbound - Aizen/Hinamori - Bleach - 3.486 words - Chapters: 1/1 - Rated E - Complete - Crossposted on Wattpad

Continuing with my love for villain x heroine couples. Aizen and Hinamori have a relationship that has always fascinated me. When they meet again at the battle of the Fake Karakura City and he tells Gin that Hinamori means nothing and that she’s nothing, he’s at the same time surprised. Not that she’s alive. He KNOWS Unohana will save her, but that she could live without him. Live a full, happy life. And overcome her need for him. You see, Aizen views himself as a God and he sees Hinamori as his worshipper. But he forgot that people can live without Gods, but Gods cannot live without their worshippers. The moment Hinamori lets go of her need for him, he descended from the heavens to become less than a mortal man. And for someone who wants to conquer everything and everyone this is a fate worse than death. Spellbound is part of three oneshots in which I pour myself into their relationship. It’s not pretty or nice. It’s visceral—and that’s the beauty of it. Another story posted in Portuguese only that I want to translate, but somehow I think that I won’t do a good job with it. Also it won the Wattpad contest for best fic of July 2020 and for one the best fics of 2020 overall, among several others from several fandoms.

Illusion of You is my baby, hands down. I got to write it during the pandemic after I saw Altered Carbon Resleeved. Takeshi Kovacs animation looks an awfully like Kensei and then an idea shaped up my mind. WHAT IF Yhwach defeated the shinigami and death no longer plagued humanity? Kensei wakes up 400 years later in 2380 to a reality he no longer recognizes and goes after Mashiro, the only person who’s been a constant in his life, only to discover that she has no recollection of him. Nor her, nor everyone from Soul Society. I wrote this on a frenzy. I got to write 100k of it in less than 2 months. I simply couldn’t stop writing it. It’s Bleach set up in the universe of Altered Carbon. With cortical stacks and a cyberpunk/violent vibe that. Throw in the middle religious/detective/political drama and there you have it: Sadly, it’s a quite depressive story that my friend describes as a punch to the gut and I need to be in the right mind to write it. Which is kinda funny considering that from this selection of stories this is the only ship that’s not ETL or absolutely toxic. They’re just the grumpy x sunshine trope. My babies ♥️

Quase 400 anos após a derrota dos shinigami, Kensei desperta de um coma para descobrir que a morte não mais persegue a humanidade. Num mundo em que sua mera existência não faz mais sentido — e poderia se tornar uma ameaça ao senso de pertencimento e segurança dos humanos —, ele se volta para aquela que sempre esteve ao seu lado: Mashiro. O problema é que, nessa realidade, absolutamente tudo — incluindo seu amor — pode não passar de uma ilusão.

But in this new reality, like everything else, she...their love may just be an illusion.
