#Repost • @njbeergirl Some of the best breweries are the ones you stumble upon by accident, and Banded Brewing Co @bandedbrewingco was one of those! It was good enough for me to stop in twice on my Portland trip. Pictured with me first is their California Common Ale, which I enjoyed greatly but forgot to check-in ☺️. I also luckily got to sample their red ale right before it got kicked (not pictured). Here's a little bit about that brew, as well as one of the lovely pours I had, given to me by their super awesome, super friendly staff, after they kindly let me sample many of their beers 😍: . . Veridian IPA (6% ABV, American IPA): This was such a lovely American IPA; it checked off all the boxes for the style, in my book. This brew was a little hoppy up front with a nice piney taste as well. It was light and smooth overall which I liked, with some welcomed sweetness as well. This was a great recommendation from their staff! Mo Chara (5.5% ABV, Irish Red Ale): If you are a fan of red ales, this brew is a must have! Not only was it malty up front, but it also had a nice bready taste which was welcomed by me. Overall, this brew was incredibly light, smooth, creamy, and sweet. SO glad I got to leave with some cans.
