What did you think about Clarke letting the bomb drop on TONDC without warning anyone? Do you think she should have or did she make the right move?

I don’t think she made that choice. I think Lxa coerced her into that choice, which was the wrong choice, and then made her feel guilty over it and blamed her for it, and said she did it for selfish reasons, and so, coerced her into siding with whatever lxa did next, because she’d already done the horribly immoral thing of sacrificing innocents for selfish reasons.

Now, you could say that she didn’t FORCE her to let it happen, but she kind of did. Clarke had good ways out of the situation. “Start a fire and evacuate!” which would have served the purpose of making the bomb useless without giving away their spy on the inside.” 

But when Clarke had a solution, Lxa said “we have no time to debate,” and then debated with her about how her plan was the only plan, despite having an alternate plan that she’d just ignored and discarded.

The move was Lxa’s, and Lxa catastrophized it (wasn’t hard, it was a catastrophe) in order to rush her into what Lxa wanted her to do. 

My ex used to do this to me all the time. I mean he’d make up a catastrophe, but it was always “THIS HAS TO BE DONE NOW AND MY PLAN IS THE ONLY WAY,” so that I was forced to make a decision in that moment without reasoning it out, while he discarded all my solutions, and pressuring me to do what he wanted.

Lxa got HER way. And then made Clarke a collaborator in what she thought was wrong. Which meant that she had a vested interest in continuing with Lxa’s plans, because it had to work out, or she did it for nothing? Right? 

Bit of gaslighting, bit of catastrophizing, bit of grooming, bit of ultimatum. Bit of blame. 

ugly bit of work. and you know, your very ask completely takes Lxa out of it, as if it wasn’t her idea and she didn’t nag Clarke into doing it or tell her Bellamy would die if she didn’t. 

This is part of the way that scene worked. It was Lxa’s decision, but she put all the responsibility of it onto Clarke. And so did you.

I Promise Pt.1- Bellamy Blake imagine

Prompt: From @ariatate Hi :) I was wondering if you could write a Bellamy image for me. You are the daughter of Anya, she is already dead (but Lexa becomes the new commander, not you) and you are together with Lexa in Ton DC  when the bomb of the mountain men hits. You are buried, but you are not alone, because Bellamy lies right next to you (you are injured). At the beginning he doesn’t rly trusts you but later then you both are saved, you have become good friends. He flirts with u a little, bc he is in love with you... :)

AN:Thank you @ariatate for giving me the chance to write a tondc imagine! This will be in two parts, the first going up tonight. I did change that Lexa and you aren’t together when the bomb hits. She escaped with Clarke after she sent you and Bellamy away. Hope you enjoy it! :)

One moment Y/N was walking with Bellamy kom Skaikru to discuss a perimeter check later in the night, even though she could tell he was edgy at having to work with her.

“Blake, if you don’t stop questioning my motives behind. I leave you.”

“That does not convince me you are trustworthy Y/L/N”

The next was blank.

Thrown backwards through the air, Y/N and Bellamy were propelled into a falling roof. Screams could be heard of the injured across camp, fire devastating buildings and people. No one had seen it coming. Tondc had not been prepared for an attack of this magnitude. Bellamy came to because smaller rocks had been landing on his stomach. He coughed feeling the ache in his side from the fall and dryness in his throat due to the residual smoke in the air. He looked over to find Y/N about to throw another pebble and immediately became defensive.

“You’re trying to kill me!” She huffed and threw the pebble at him.

“No skaikru. Trying to keep you conscious, I am. Tondc under attack.”

“How do we know it wasn’t one of the clans that attacked?” Y/N studied him wondering why he was so set on putting the blame on her people. She shook her head.

“Mountain men. *pained cough* You must get more to safety.” In that moment Bellamy took note of Y/N appearance. She was sitting propped up by the stone wall of the house they’d crashed in, one leg bent at a strange angle and a bleeding wound in her side something sticking out. He tried to move and found he could but pain flared up his entire body and a minor head wound in his hairline.

“Neither of us is leaving like this. We are gonna have to wait it out while they begin to look for survivors.” He watched her grit her teeth while moving her stuck leg out from between a few rocks. She looked up at him.

“Help up. Must make tunnel that way.” Her eyes determined pointed to where the door used to be but now some debris took it’s place. Bellamy against the needs of his body crawled on his hands and knees forward so that he could try to help Y/N move closer to their chosen exit.

She  wrapped her hands around his neck and let him drag her towards the exit was turning over to try and crawl would have been impossible with a broken leg. Bellamy took the moment to quip.

“Normally I’d make you dinner first” Y/N rolled her eyes silly skaikru under her pained breath.

Bellamy propped her up against a stable piece of rock and let her move smaller rocks out of the way while he pushed bigger ones out of the way. Eventually they made an opening and could hear voices. Y/N eyes widened as Bellamy yelled.

“O! Over here.” Octavia turned to the sound of her big brother’s voice. Nyko ran and began moving more debris to make the opening bigger.

“Bell, are you okay? Who’s that?”

“Y/N. and she’s injured bad. I’m fine just need a little help. We don’t have much time though.” The disturbed land shook once more. Nyko nodded and waved more survivors over to aid. Bellamy turned to Y/N who’d fallen unconscious.

“You’re gonna be okay. I promise.”
