My favorite thing in writing fics is throwing in little crumbs for other ships.

For example, (spoilers for my upcoming let’s go eat some Italian food starring dio)

Dio barges into the restaurant late at night and holds Tonio at stand point and wants a meal to make him fully connect him to Jonathan’s body (perhaps Tonio will recognize Jonathan via reading his hands)
