TOO Reaction to Foreign S/o Sending Flowers
Genre: fluff, romance
Requested: yes
A/n: thanks anon for this request, I really enjoyed writing it. Hope y’all like it!
Chihoon:
You had asked Chihoon to meet outside the dorms, saying how there was something you wanted to give him. When he saw you standing outside with your hands behind your back, obviously holding something, he couldn’t help but question it in his head. Finally standing in front of you, you shyly present a bouquet of flowers without saying a word. You don’t see it, but Chihoons face reddens at your actions. Shyly, he takes the flowers from you, and before he could get a word in, you runaway.
Taken back by your sudden disappearance, he goes back into the dorms and ignore the questions from his band members. Getting on his phone he goes to see what kind of flowers they are and they’re meaning behind it. Baby’s breaths. Symbolizes purity, sincerity, and love. Later on that night, you get a call from him.
Donggeon:
You thought it be a great idea for you to surprise Donggeon after his first solo schedule. Luckily his manager was able to sneak you into his dressing room before he could return. Waiting for Donggeon to return, you set your gift for him on the table and decided to hide. When Donggeon was finally back in the dressing room, the first thing he spotted was the bouquet of flowers on the table. As he inspected the flowers, you decided to let your presence be known. “Do you like them?” Surprised by the familiar voice, Donggeon quickly turns around with a big smile on his face. Comin in for a hug, he asks, “Y/n? What’re you doing here?”
“I wanted to surprise you at your first solo activity.”
“It was a wonderful surprise, and you got me flowers?” Nodding your head, you tell him, “They’re asters. They symbolize love.”
“Well, I love them, and I love you.”
Chan:
“You got me flowers?” Chan asks as he examines the bouquet of carnations you had presented him. “Yeah, do you not like them?” You had walked by a flower shop earlier that day and saw how beautiful the flowers were and thought that they’d be nice little present for Chan.
Quickly reassuring you he says, “No, no, I do like them. I’m just so used to getting you flowers, that’s all.” Sure, flowers usually weren’t the first thing you would get Chan, but you were just glad that he liked them. “Well, then you should start getting used to it because I think I like that look on your face.” Smiling at your comment, he presses a kiss on your cheek, “I think I can do that.”
Jisu:
“Look at what my sweetie, Y/n, got me. Y/n got me yellow daffodils. Aren’t they beautiful like them?” At this point, the members were starting to get tired of Jisu talking about the flowers you gave him earlier that day. “Yah, we get, they got you flowers, now stop waving them around or else you’ll ruin them.” Gasping, Jisu says, “You’re right. I have to keep these flowers pristine. I can’t ruin this lovely gift from my love.” He quickly then leaves to put the flowers in a safe area.
Although the boys were annoyed with all of Jisu’s nonstop talking, they were just all glad that you were able to make him happy as he was.
J.you:
When J.you saw the bouquet of peonies, he had to question you about them, “Hey babe, who got you these flowers?”
“I did, and they’re not for me, they’re for you.” Gently grabbing one of the leaves on the stem, he asks, “Why’d you get me peonies?”
“Because where I’m from, red peonies mean passionate love and romance, and I wanted to show you that I love you.” His heart melts at your explanation and he can’t help but coo at you. Motioning for you to come close to him, he pulls you into his chest, “It’s so cute how much you love me.” You playfully hit at his chest, “But just letting you know now, I love you more.” He goes on to show you this the next time you see him, when he shows up with more red peonies.
Minsu:
“Do these flowers mean something in your country?” Minsu asks when you give him a bouquet of red chrysanthemums. Shaking you head, you respond, “Not necessarily. The universal meaning behind them is love.” When he hears your response, he quickly takes his attention away from the flowers and focuses it on you. “Love?” Shyly, you nod your head. A smile forms on his face. Setting the flowers down, he pulls you into a hug, “I love you too.”
Now every time Minsu sees red chrysanthemums, he always has to buy them for you because he wants you to know that you are always loved. Sometimes he also buys flowers that are native to your country in case you ever feel homesick.
Jaeyun:
“Why would you get me flowers?” Is the first thing Jaeyun says to you when you present him the bouquet of violets you had gotten him. “Because the florists said that violets mean loyalty, and I just wanted you to know that I’ll always be loyal to you.” Hearing the words come out of your mouth, Jaeyun’s face reddens in embarrassment. He found your actions and words too sweet that he didn’t know how to respond.
“If you don’t like them, I can just bring them back to my place.”
“No!” Jaeyun blurts out. A little bit softer than before, he says, “I like them.” He looks at the flowers again, and in your mind, you mentally take a picture of him, not wanting to forget this scene.
Kyungho:
When Kyungho had saw the orchids on his desk, he was slightly confused. He knew that nobody other than you could have put them there, so when he went to go see you in the kitchen, he had to question it. “Sweetheart, did you put the orchids on my desk?”
“Yeah.” His heart swelled up on the inside. Your love language wasn’t physical touch like his was, but instead it was giving gifts, and he knew what the meaning behind the flowers meant. However, getting him flowers was something new for the both of you, and Kyungho couldn’t help but fall in love with you even more. Coming up to you as you cleaned the dishes, he wrapped his arms around your waist, giving you a back hug, and kissed your cheek. “I love them. I think I could get used to getting spoiled like this.”
Jerome:
“Y/n? What are you doing here?” Jerome questions you as you walk through the dorm with your hands behind your back. “I came here to give you something.” Presenting the object in your hands, you give Jerome a bouquet of sunflowers. He takes a moment and just looks at you before finally taking the flowers from you. “You got me sunflowers?”
“Yeah, they reminded me of you.” You couldn’t tell, but on the inside, his heart was exploding from pure excitement. You didn’t realize it then, but this moment will forever be engraved in Jerome’s mind because from then on anytime he saw something with a sunflower on it, he had to buy it because it reminded him of you.
Woonggi:
When Woonggi had saw the bouquet of flowers in your hands he was slightly sad, “Ooh Y/n, who got you those?”
“They’re for you actually.” Any sadness Woonggi had previously felt before disappeared and was replaced with excitement. Happily taking the flowers from you, he gave them a big whiff, enjoying the fresh smell of the camelias. “Thanks Y/n, but what’s the occasion?”
“There’s no occasion. If you know the meaning behind camelias then you’ll know.” With your helpful hint, Woonggi was able to piece everything together. He knew exactly what camelias meant. Love, affection, and admiration. You were confessing to him. Happily smiling at you, he takes a single stem from the bouquet and hands it to you. Accepting it, you look at him confused. “If you know the meaning behind camelias, then you’ll know.”
A/n: tbh Woonggi’s was my favorite like once I finished writing it I squealed lol. anyways, if you have any requests, my requests are open! you can check which groups I write for here: x
