Idk how else to describe how I’ve been feeling lately…it’s like there’s this quiet distance between who I am and who I’ve been. I miss the version of me that actually felt present. These days everything feels like it’s just…happening I go through my day doing all these different things, but it still feels like nothing’s really moving…like I’m not in any of it. Sometimes it even feels like I’m the side character in my own story. The days are quiet…like background noise turned down low. It’s not sad exactly just weird. All this to just say that present me doesn’t quite feel like me.😕🥹

I'm reading the novel to the upcoming Chinese BL To My Shore and yikes, I wonder how they're gonna adapt it in the drama, what scenes they're going to include, because the male lead is so obsessed with the main character, he molests him in his sleep every time.

Could they really include such scenes between an endgame couple without any serious backlash? But then again, they were able to make it work with Revenged Love..

Anyway I'm loving the characters. Fan Xiao, a heartless, sociopathic man who's been straight all his life encounters You Shulang when they get involved in a car accident and from that moment on he becomes hellbent on making You Shulang's life miserable because You Shulang had the "audacity" to cause that accident and delay him for 38 minutes and 42 seconds (he was literally counting while acting all polite and gentlemanly). He's homophobic, too, and discovers You Shulang is gay and in a serious relationship and decides "hey you know what? I'm going to seduce You Shulang's boyfriend and separate them" 💀

But as time goes and he gets to know You Shulang a little better, he discovers a dark attraction towards You Shulang and becomes jealous over the fact that he has a boyfriend, who he embraces and kisses with the body and mouth Fan Xiao feels should only belong to him. And now he pounces on that man when he's unconscious (the first time he paid his men to knock him out) every chance he gets.

Now You Shulang's annoying little boyfriend has become infatuated with Fan Xiao and left You Shulang for him. I haven't reached the part where he and Fan Xiao interact after the breakup, but there's no doubt he's about to be discarded like garbage because he was never the prize. I can't wait for that moment.
