PROSTHETICS
Aaaaaaa I have so much fun everytime I do this. All the research, and then the sketches, and stacking idea on idea and solving problems.....I enjoy it.
Anyways, did some designs for a prosthetic leg and also a special compression sleeve for muscle injury. For reasons. :3
Giving the shield a bit of a more rectangular shape and possible texture. As well, completely designed a hand crossbow from scratch. Utilizing an idea referenced in ancient Chinese records, we have a crossbow designed to shoot lead balls! Of course, I took the liberty of adding some modern elements, such as the compound bow to it, but it is theoretically something you could make using today's technology. Or maybe even yesterday's.
Working under the idea of a shield that could cover the wings as well, I started with an eytra style design. Unfortunately, it would have to be big, even bigger than depicted here probably, and basically a tower shield. It would be unfortunately unwieldy and bulky, and would have to be left behind during flight. Not to mention the resource requirement and the weight on the shoulders.
Going for something smaller, I found I really liked this design. It has a lot of attach and resting points, which help distribute the weight and impact. And it would likely be worn constantly to protect the wing prosthetic. I'm thinking they might have two different designs, a softer lightweight backpack for around the house, and a heavier weight durable shield for battle/patrol.
Watching MHA has apparently given me ideas to give all the Dreamers utility items to enhance their powers.
So here's something Wolf wears! It allows him to carry the team's water supplies without it swinging around and interfering in case of trouble, but it also helps Wolf with his thermal power. Since water has a very high specific heat (the highest actually!), it can store and provide a lot of thermal energy. This gives Wolf a large buffer to work with rather than pulling and dispersing heat energy from the environment, which can rapidly give the rest of his team heat stroke or frostbite.
I should not be allowed to design tech
