I need to study Milt Kahl more. Rewatch The Sword in the Stone maybe. IIRC that's the only movie where he was in charge of most to all of the character designs. I can't remember where I found it but I referenced that hand in the last post from this compilation image. So much personality in Merlin's hands alone.

Some doodles! I drew these all before realizing that neither Holly or Mari really wear gloves so... whoops!

I think you have successfully accidentally indoctrinated me to the Holly Grayelle propaganda. Only played TTCC twice so far, but when I saw Holly for the first time, I was like "IT'S ✨HER!!!✨"

Also since the way you drew Knight Holly varied a bit throughout the references I saved, I went ahead and took some creative liberty here and there. I did kinda base the helmet and hair noodles off of how Vaos-studios draws her. Check out their AU and art if you haven't yet, super cool! :D

I also was comparing the way these two spoke and it somehow led to me drawing this too

have you ever seen a knight as awesome as her.

i think about her every day

very high standards. key character trait is her very high standards.

she is also Vain. she believes she is (at very least) closer to her very high standards than most else.

shes also a street manager in ye olde toontown. she is . . . . not high up.

shes probably so so so pressed that graham who probably skips meetings to get his face melted off by his friend and cathal the pirates robot who dont do anything are both more important/higher up/have more relevance than her.

shes a knight and there isnt even any suitable princess or king or whatever to serve. i think very few of the other managers meet her standards. and the bosses probably dont want to deal with just a lowly manager. so she's like a stray knight. at least she has a kingdom.

i dont remember what i was going to get at i love holly.

i think most of her friendships are very surface level, if anything. yknow. can't risk prester getting any ammo of rumors to lob at her.

i think she'd like those very sweet treat coffee drinks. pumpkin spice girlie.

i think she might actually approve of belle, at least a bit. belle has surface level frivolities, but she is a very competent fighter. and she'd probably not have too much about her holly finds too objectionable, other than perhaps seeming too soft.

she probably bullys william. mean. sad

shes so cool she literally tells the other cogs to lock in.

as jennifer says she's got an eye for company image.

her role as a street manager is to keep the cogs out and about in shape, and to fight toons. however, i think she would prefer to also have some more internal duties, of shoring up security. she probably notices so many security flaws all the time. and she doesn't have a form to fill out to send them up for someone to review.

did i mention how fucking cool her eyes are. she doesnt have a face. she just has two eyes underneath her mask. peak character design.
