Headcanon: The Tooth Minish
In some places, such as Latin America, the role of the Tooth Fairy is instead played by a Tooth Mouse.
The Minish, a magical race resembling mice, are said to help humans because it gives them “energy”. One way that the Minish help humans is by leaving rupees for them to find.
In “Breath of the Wild”, teeth from monsters can be used to brew elixirs and enhance clothing. The resultant effects include replenished health, improved stamina, higher speed, resistance to injury, and protection from extreme temperatures.
My headcanon is that children in Hyrule leave out their lost baby teeth to be collected by Minish. After being exchanged for rupees, the teeth are then used as ingredients for potions and magical items.
