Do you know any folk magical remedies for toothaches? I vaguely remember one or two about sticking a twig in the gum for a minute then sticking in the wall and all that. Or any salves, really, that can help with the pain until someone can get a visit to the dentist.

There are a few other toothache remedies like carrying crocodile teeth about your neck, or shark teeth.
I prefer a drop of clove tincture, if unavailable, chew a clove carefully until it’s pulpy, put the pulp next to the tooth.
Another toothache/tooth health spell is:
say the abracadabra banishment three times, followed by a verbal Sator square repeated three times. (From Judika Illes Encyclopedia of 5000 spells).
