Oh my god oh my god they were beautiful!!! Im so happy I actually got to see them!! Bunny's statue was right outside a chocolate shop!! How perfect!! After years of wanting to take the trip, I finally did. Worth it, so worth it.

Okay, hear me out.

Maybe the reason Jack gravitates to the guardians is because they remind him of the only friends he's had before. Or vise versa.

Toothina& Rapunzel: Colorful, kind, enthusiastic, importance of memories (if you told me the moon made Rapunzel tooth fairy, who guards important memories I would believe you. She motioned to tuck her hair behind her ear at one point and she doesn't have hair. Or ears? And Rapunzel remembering that mobile as a baby was a huge moment-)

Bunny&Merida: Unexpectedly creative, fierce fighters, quick to anger, stubborn, accent.

North& Hiccup: Creative, inventors, Northern European vibes, fur, communicates with creatures others can't understand, sees good things in unexpected places.

As a fandom, I think Jack fits so well with these characters because we've seen how he interacted with similar personalities in canon.

Dream tracks the two to a town named Burgess (and oh, the Fates must be laughing at him) and startles the Guardians of Childhood.

From the Dream's unnaturally pale skin and dark visage, there is a striking resemblance and feel of him to their foe - Pitch. Though, the mysterious figure is far more youthful — ageless and unmoored by the passage of time — compared to Pitch who often has a strain to his brow, a practically permanent feature on his forehead crease, and a scowl akin to a very upset parent to naughty children. Quite befitting the Nightmare King Pitch Black.

North in particular looked between the still shell-shocked Pitch and the new fellow in suspicion, and then as if a Christmas light burst bright red, “Pitch I didn’t know you had a son?!”

Oh dear! Pitch, more than anything wished he could fade away into nonexistence. He just hoped Lord Morpheus was feeling merciful today.

I wonder how Katherine will be introduced in the hopefully-to-be-approved Guardians series

Will they go with her original book series origin, with her always having been the Guardian of Imagination, or could she start out as a normal girl that rises to become the Guardian of Imagination?

I’d be leaning more towards Katherine starting out as a normal girl, because I have a story in my head that the children who were turned into Fearlings during the Golden Age reach out to her, as it is Katherine's mysterious connection to the Mythosphere makes her the only one who can communicate with them.
