What if Percy realized that Fudge had only hired him so he could find out if the Weasleys (and by extention Dumbledore) and thats why he sent back Molly's sweater and didn't visit their father in the hospital?

Like, yeah, pride takes a role and thats why Percy left in the first place, but not visiting your very ill father due to a vicious attack seems a bit extreme.

What if he was protecting his family by cutting off all communication so he wouldn't have to tell Fudge anything. What if he decided to stay at the Ministry despite the nefarious reasons for getting the job because at least someone wanted him

Just an interesting idea I'd love to see explored in a fic.

“THE ORDER REACTING TO YOU DYING WHILE SAVING SIRIUS (HARRY POTTER)”

In the chaos during the Battle of the Department of Mysteries, the entire Order had been split up and you and Sirius were back to back, fighting off the Death Eaters

Sirius and Harry saw you fall, hit with a killing curse meant for Sirius, but no one else knew until after the battle, where they were forced to break the news

The entire Order was stricken with grief, it was minutes before anyone spoke. Ginny, Neville, and Hermione were especially horrified, Harry was completely numb after witnessing it

Both Lupin and Tonks had to take a seat to process the news

Ron didn’t break down until his family arrived, and for some reason, that’s when the reality of what happened at the Department of Mysteries hit him

Though he didn’t let anyone else see him cry

And Sirius was beside himself with guilt, feeling that it should have been him, that you still had so much of your life ahead of you

And all of it happened so quick-- your life had been lost in an instant, the battle continuing without you

Your passing hung like a specter over the Order all summer, something that hardened them and prepared them for the war to come

There was a quiet service at the Weasleys, with Order members, students, and family of the Order attending

Dumbledore spoke for mostly everyone, the others unable to find the right words, though a few had a few emotional memories to share afterward

It was that night, after your funeral service and memorial that the Order made plans for what was coming, all of their decisions spurred by your death

Sirius found himself ready to lay down his life in an instant for the others, as if he had some debt now that had to be paid

Harry could not stop thinking about you all summer, wishing he had done something differently that night, wishing he could have gotten the message to the Order faster or somehow let them know what they were up against

Some referred to you as the first death of the Second Wizarding World, though there had been many others before you, including Cedric

But it was your death that made its way into the households of regular wizarding folk and made the return of Voldemort feel real

Okay, so I've just finished reading HP & the Order of the Phoenix 🔥 for the first time and my love for Luna Lovegood 🌙 has quadrupled because I already loved her in the movies but the scene in which she helped Harry get over Sirius' ⭐ death is so touching it just made me love her as a character even more❣
