January: Aaliyah Fan Page Appreciation Month

JANUARY is the birth month of our baby girl, Aaliyah. 

Aaliyah’s talent and influence inspired many of us to create a fan page that even we (admins) call ‘our baby’. We put so much time and energy into our fan pages and for years we have kept our fan pages up and running in order to keep Aaliyah’s memory and legacy alive when specific sources are limited. 

From amazing facts, magazine articles, snap shots of our collections, exclusive candid photos, down to engaging content that keep us coming back for more, I just want to say thank you all for helping keep Aaliyah’s memory alive; she would have been 42 in January and still kicking a$$. 

 I want to dedicate each day in January to acknowledge my Top 31 favorite Aaliyah fan pages of all time. We need to support each other and let each other know they are great and to keep up the great work. Some of you inspire each other and we never take that moment to let each other know that. 

So I hope some of you join me in doing the same for your favorite Aaliyah hangouts as well.

Top 30 Movies of 2018 #25 - Daphne & Velma Being a fan of Hanna Barbera and various other cartoons I have joined various Hanna Barbera and other cartoon related groups to share my love of the things. And my intended mental sanctuary from the cruelty of the Trump administration for whatever reason squews towards old conservative dudes and a very specific woman from the UK who has internalized misogyny and thinks of the superhero garage band The Impossibles as a boy band. So anytime DC/WB makes Snagglepuss gay or tries to widen their audience by making things more diverse, shitheads in these groups lose their fucking minds. So it should come as no surprise that the trailer for D&V was met with vitriol. How dare WB try to get young girls to become. How dare WB cast Daphne as a girl of color. People who were not the intended audience for the project were horrible. Velma is played by one of the daughters on Tim Allen's horrible Last Man Standing and Daphne now stars on the CW's awesome Charmed reboot. Part of the plan for this 5th live action Scooby Doo movie is to skip the cost of the CGI Scooby, and so they didn't break the budget w/ special effects. The story is fairly predictable but the job is to not confuse the short people audience. Omg! Watching produce 48 made me so freaking sad 😭😭😭 I hate the elimination episodes...my favorites are always eliminated...I’m happy for the ones that got in the top 30 yet it makes me sad seeing the others go...I got so attached to them 😢
