In this video, we’ll show you how to integrate Topdesk and Jira using Exalate, enabling automated workflows that connect customer support teams with service teams.
We use a third-party integration solution called Exalate to implement this.
Here’s what you’ll learn: ✅ Automatically create incidents in Topdesk whenever issues are created in Jira. ✅ Use advanced filtering and logic to configure workflow syncs effortlessly. ✅ Automate and streamline service workflows with end-to-end integration.
We’ll demonstrate the following workflow:
Create a Jira issue.
Exalate syncs the issue to create an incident in Topdesk.
The incident number is synced back to Jira as a label.
Only public comments are shared between Topdesk and Jira.
Choose a category in Jira from a picklist custom field to update the Category and Subcategory in Topdesk automatically.
Sync statuses bidirectionally for real-time updates.
Exchange attachments between Topdesk and Jira for added context.
Synchronize priority changes between both platforms.
Close the Topdesk incident when the Jira issue is marked as "Done."
This video is just a preview of what’s possible with Exalate for end-to-end workflow orchestration.
