Happy album release day!!!
this is not just because T.O.P, even in BIGBANG days, always favored being a ‘different’ performer (moreso it’s successful public image continuation): rather, it is so telling how his new 2026 debut (!) album “ANOTHER DIMENSION” is even more artistic, outside the box, groovy, unpredictable, trippy, interesting, fun, strange, carefully crafted, catchy, funky, immersive, offbeat, reflective, playful, well-mixed, versatile, expressive, and classy. time and again idols going their own way will often reward listeners plenty if they can stomach the lack of large-scale promotion - which is why it’s important for us to be on the lookout for artists with less big corp publicity - with no-skip-song creativity. remember hanbin’s 2021 songs, illa illa was perfect. now besides a blast from the BIGBANG past finally being back to life with his famed voice gracing the scene again T.O.P matured heavily from doom dada and it’s been over ten years. listening to ANOTHER DIMENSION in one sitting, he’s grown into a giant with Topspot, the name is the game. he lands a lot of punchlines in a thousand switching flows and patterns while keeping all kinds of electronic melodies intact. the yg heyday nostalgia is real, but even if you’ve never heard of him this is a great listen. he easily bridges past TOP into this new era, in fact. i rate the album, music from tabi sending love to fans is definitely needed right now. it’s multilayered and immaculate 5 stars material. the trap-heavy alternative soundscapes of this almighty ‘TOP 2.0′ are next level. i’m not exaggerating, it was 100% worth it for him to return.
Seunghyun's new Mojiri pfp is so cute!!!
Also guys go check out this amazing fan animation for Zero Coke by @hahallucinat, i love it so much 👁️💙

topspot album review
forgive me, all of my followers who dont gaf but ive been waiting for this album for 10 years.
this is my review after 1 (ONE!!!) listen thru so these ratings will probably change over time
overall this album is fucking perfect and i will not allow anyone to tell me differently. i cannot wait for my cd to come bc the whole house is gonna be forced to hear this. go listen to it now. NOW!!!
self crucifixion 10/10
holy shit. literally such a beautiful and chilling opening. this was so perfect as the first song on this album i have no notes at all like as a piece of art this is so good i cant even express it
this is exactly what i was hoping for -- he's an artist before anything else and he's proving that here
the giant 10/10
this beat is reminiscent of 90s rap and i think that fits his vibe so well and his flow is so unique and artistic i cant stand it
and the chorus is so catchy
this is such a return to form for him as a rapper. like im so glad he went the route of releasing a true rap album. it is such a breath of fresh air in the current kpop landscape and again it fits him so well. and instead of just creating an imitation of the greats in 90s rap, he's used the motifs and elements to create something completely his own.
Studio54 10/10
the beat incorporating the sample??? what.... this is genius
this song is slow and introspective but its still so strangely danceable. we also get another mention of bigbang here (and taeyang reposted the album release) so top at coachella??
the outro??? is he referencing the burning sun crimes??
OVAYA - A Small Filthy Show Window 9/10
ok nevermind about the top at coachella thing bc this song seems to be a message in big red letters that says "shut the fuck up im not gonna ever go back to bigbang"
this song is also so fucking good but it feels slightly less memorable than the first 3 tbh
Zero-Coke 8/10
ok like this song is pretty good also but i just dont see myself relistening to it very much bc of the long intro and the slower pace
it really picks up toward the end tho and i think as art its gorgeous
Another Dimension Holy Dude!!!!!! 9/10
when i saw the title of this song i instantly knew it was gonna be one of the most T.O.P songs on here and i was so correct
this showcases his creative, unpredictable flow so well
i love hearing him experiment because it's crazy how well everything works out on the album
also the other singer on this song sounded sm like gdragon for a second i had a heart attack
i think this one isnt a perfect 10 bc it just feels a little flatter
Seoul Chaos 10/10
wait i love this sound so much and once again it feels unpredictable which is my fav part of his sound. at first i was gonna compare this song to mino's xx (one of my fav kpop albums oat) but when it hit the second verse it felt like an insult bc as much as i love xx, this album is just on another level.
t.o.p is exactly who he thinks he is in this song
"im top. master t.o.p" bro.... shut up
Desperado 10/10
oh my god ive been so excited for this fucking song... my stomach hurt listening to this bc i was so excited. and it absolutely met my expectations.
this song is subtle and chilling and so perfect for him. i love it, no notes.
For Fans 9/10
hi um the intro?? yeah dont worry t.o.p ill be there.
this song honestly feels a little more commercialized than the rest, but it still has that artistic feel & a sound that is super coherent with the rest of the album. it's super catchy and danceable too !!
only reason i take off a point is bc it feels like the radio play and i love t.o.p a lot more when his music sounds genuine and abstract
but also its still so good
Stendhal Syndrome 9/10
i LOVE THIS BEAT!!! oh my god this feels like the sun is setting on the album and the gold glow is shining on us. LOVE!!!
the piano in the back?? everything about this album feels so smokey jazz bar with mob activity (with the most love possible) and that aesthetic fits so perfectly with him tbh
i love when the music goes quiet and we just have t.o.p yelling in our ears <3
Be Solid 10/10
ohhh i love the opening of this one.. it feels like the sun has completely set and this is the encore.
this one is so good. the girls that get it get it. usually im not really into slower songs (especially from rappers) but this is like so perfect as a farewell (hopefully not for long)!!
overall, he kept us waiting for a reason. this album is a masterpiece and it exceeded every expectation i had for it. it was also put together masterfully. like he paid attention to where each song needed to go, the fade ins, etc. this was absolutely meant to be listened in order and treated as the art it is.
the sound feels smokey and laid back while also going so incredibly hard. and it fits so perfectly into the mafia boss aesthetic he can fall into so easily. he has absolutely found HIS sound and i really hope this means we will hear a lot more from him.
there aren't any gimmicks. he knows exactly who he is. the king is back to reclaim his kingdom with grace.
