They have a knife, short but sharp, and they didnât mean to do it.
They had you pressed to a wall, something yâall agreed to beforehand. Youâre hands pressed into their stomach, a look of horror on your face when they came out of the shadows and slammed you there.
Pinned in place, unable to run. They held the knife to your throat and whispered what theyâd do to you.
But it nicked you, obviously by accident. However, you couldnât stifle the moan that it forced out of you.
They looked back at you, at first confused because, well, they hadnât said anything particularly seductive yet. That was until they saw the small streak of blood trailing from your neck downwards.
Instantly they were concerned, checking on you and stopping the scene. But your reddened face and wide eyes as they swiped the blood with their fingers gave you away. You wanted it, and now you had a taste of how good it felt.
At first they give you a look, one of amusement as if theyâre surprised by your response, but soon enough the knife is held to you again, pressing a little less carefully.
âWould be such a shame if I slipped up again, no?â And they relish in your frantic attempt to shake your head, along with the blush that creeps over your cheeks.

Card Collecting || Adrian Chase/James Ogilvie/Reader
This is really self indulgent because I collect Pokemon cards, but I can't stop thinking about it.
The Three of you all collect cards and share what you pull.
By the three of you I mean mostly You and James.
Adrian has an Orange binder full of Infernape cards and nothing else. Yes he has multiples of the same card. Yes he is very proud. Anytime you go to card shows or card stores, you always grab him whatever they have of the pokemon
You just collect your favourites and anything with pretty art. You'd considered doing a binder for the pokedex of the first four gens but are real lax and casual about hunting for the cards you need to complete it.
James is certifiably insane and likes to do master sets. On the shared bookshelf in your living room, there are multiple binders of the sets hes finished and are working on. Since he's the most dedicated of the three of you, you always let him know when you happen to come across restocks.
Something about Adrian always getting the best pulls despite not caring for whatever he gets makes some kind of sense
Most of the money you spend on buying cards is cash you've swiped from Adrian's 'dirty money' stash that he refuses to touch.
Which brings me to what i really wanted to write about.
You and Adrian go grocery shopping for the house while James is working. Of course you get massivly lucky and catch a restock at the grocery store.
It's like you were the first to see it because there was so much on the shelves, meaning it hadnt been combed over yet.
Looking at some of the sets though, you couldn't remember which ones James were focused on.
"Adrian do you know if James has started Ascended Heroes or is he still trying to finish Prismatic?" You hold two products in your hands, weighing your options. It wouldn't be an issue to get both but you'd rather know for sure.
Adrian shrugs. "I honestly stopped keeping track since none of these bogus sets have had the best pokemon ever, infernape, in them."
You think for a moment longer and as youre doing so, someone walks up, gives the two of you a sideways glance, and then stacks three ETBs in their cart before quickly shuffling away.
You toss them both of what you have in your hands into your cart before grabbing another thing for yourself. Setting them so they are standing up in the child seat of the cart, you take a picture of what you grabbed and send it to James with message that reads "Did you want me to get these for you?" as the caption. You go to continue shopping and add a new message after new message to your text thread, waiting for him to answer.
Meanwhile in The Pitt
For the past thirty minutes, James phone has been going off almost nonstop. The first time he was with a patient and actively ignored it. The time after that, trying to proofread the chart he had created using Dr. Al-Hashimi's AI Charting app. When the constant vibrating finally got to him, there was thankfully a brief lull in cases and patient demands, so he snuck off to the bathroom to check his phone.
Seeing your sting of texts was almost laughable. Since he had a moment, he decided to facetime you.
"Jaaaaames" You squeak with excitement the second his face came into view. "Babe, did you get my messages?! Did you want me to get these for you?"
James smiles and laughs a bit.
"Yeah i got them, all twelve of them."
"There were only five, I was keeping track!" Adrian cuts in from over your shoulder.
"But yes please get them. I haven't started Acending yet but after todays shift, ripping some packs would be a great way to end the night." He responds.
"Nice Nice Nice. Anything else you want me to get while we're at the store? Since I already have you here."
You watch as he rubs the back of his neck, thinking about the question.
"Not anything off the top of my head." He says slowly, as if the words are being formed as he's thinking about it. "If I change my mind I'll probably just get it myself on the way home."
You wrap up the call, Adrian shoving his face back into the frame just in time to get his "byeeeee" in.
And of course after James returns from his shift, you all sit around the coffee table and open what you bought.
Much to everyone's suprise, Adrian pulls the Gold Mega Dragonite card which leaves you and James in a state of shock.
"I mean its nice but its still not Infernape so," he shrugs.
