Secret Santa for @torchturtle from the BNHA Bungalow event! I hope you like it! I based it on a reddit post I saw a while back that I thought was hilarious
bonus:
Presentation Michael: *screams* The Leviathan: I can scream that loud. Lizuku: please don't. Leviathan: *SCREAMS* Lizuku, weeping: eahh, why me...
present mic: oh, sh- jeez, are you okay, kid?
izuku, while the leviathan is having a fucking Ball inside his head: peachy
Kaminari (about Todoroki): Why is he doing that?
Jirou: Love makes you do stupid things.
Kaminari: I love everything!
Jirou: That explains a lot.
Hi, so I joined the discord server, it's just I'm extremely shy and feel uncomfortable intruding when everyone is already talking and getting along. I'm probably not going to talk and if I do it's going to be short... (Sorry for telling you this way, or for telling you if this information is useless to you)
No worries at all! I feel the same way when I enter large servers, they get super overwhelming a lot of the time! Other than the atrocious jokes that run rampant in the server, everyone there’s super nice and friendly! Feel free to jump in whenever you feel comfortable doing so :>
I'm happy for Geno, but I'm also a bit upset that the problem was so easily solved.
I’ve had the Butts Pie concept for a long time in-comic, since near the beginning. Its certainly not a wrong response in any sense of the word, but I intended to play on the concept that no one ever thinks about healing items in-game that can help characters from dying under the right circumstances. Also, I think its a testament to Geno’s obsession. Geno was so obsessed with believing he was stuck there, and had tunnel vision for the only way he believed he could achieve his goals. He was sure there was no positive outcome (which makes sense, given Sans’ concept of ‘just give up’) and it had to be a negative one.In that obsessive, negative, and hopeless mindset, it didn’t cross his mind to find other, maybe even positive outcomes. He didn’t bother to attempt that. And also: he would have no idea if it would work. He would have no idea if items can actually even heal within the save screen, and if one did not heal him properly and he left, he’d just turn to dust, and he couldn’t let that happen anyway. If he wanted to protect Papyrus and the people he cared about, he’d stay in the save screen regardless, even if this had crossed his mind. Because it was the only place he was guaranteed so far, to not have to die. Now that he had a better outcome come about (Pacifist ending, everyone living, ect) then he’d be more likely to try it- wanting to believe even if he dusted instead of being healed, that a good ending was achieved for the people he cared about. So: Technically speaking, despite it actually being kind of funny, it wasn’t really that easy. His real problem was his obsession with believing a negative ending was the only real solution. The pie might have healed his HP, but it did not fix his mindset. It was only through Sans trying to solve the issues Geno worked through, to get him to believe in something better for Papyrus and his old friends, that this outcome could even be achieved.
