Shizue Kaneko (twitter username: QQQnekoQQQ), the character designer for this film, also painted all the artwork for the ending credits! She posted a lot more artwork to her twitter, so if you want to see more of her take on Satoshi and Pikachu, or see more of the movie original characters...

She's worked with Studio Ghibli, worked on Doraemon movies, aaaand worked on a lot of moe titles (which explains Largo (Margo)'s design quite well, as well as the generally cuter face Satoshi has here, although I can also see the Ghibli influence too!! Very versatile, cute and cool.)

She really loved the characters, she kept drawing them for several years after the movie. Aside from Satoshi (and Pikahu!), she draws Torito (Toren) a lot! Risa sometimes too. ^^

The one of ridiculously strong Satoshi carrying the entire cast is my favourite, honestly. Well, among the uncoloured pieces! The coloured pieces are hard to compete with for sheer nostalgia...

Toren

Toren is an NPC that has a lot of changes in between games.

In Breath of the Wild, Toren can be found around Tabantha Bridge Stable. He tells us about the nearby Great Fairy, and even gives us some of his savings so we can go visit her. He hasn't gone himself because he's bad at climbing.

He will give you 500 rupees with no way to check that we'll actually do what we say.

After we visit the Great Fairy for him, he's grateful he was able to indirectly make an offering to her.

He never said he would give us something for giving her an offering, so the reward is being able to upgrade your clothes.

In Tears of the Kingdom, he's had quite the career change. He leads his own squad in the Monster Control Crew! He's also featured early in the main quest cut scenes by spotting Phantom Zelda in the distance.

After getting the plot started, Toren will lead a squad to fight monsters in the Eldin and Akkala regions.

He seems to have a good budget, too.

He doesn't actually fight with his squad, but rather helps manage morale.

After repeat viewings of the highlight reel—and nearly 17 hours of watching Fetohep of Khelt being amazing, Toren decided he wanted to become Fetohep when he grew up. That statement was so…inaccurate…that Az’kerash actually had to process it for a few seconds. The Necromancer blinked at Toren, tried to figure out where to start, and then let Toren go. He had enough teaching problems to try to untangle that one.
