Ahah it’s a rivals to friends to lovers ToriAi fic, lol. they have soo much chaotic potential.

I was inspired late last night remembering a post I saw about online rivals who are friends in real life.

The premise is Toritsuka and Aiura both frequent the same online video game as a hobby (maybe one of those pet breeding sites idk) but they argue in the forums and become rivals. They keep trying to get each other banned but the staff is totally absent. Toritsuka sticks around because he likes trolling & swindling kids out of their in game currency fortunes, and Aiura runs a tutorial thread on how to game the system. Meanwhile, in real life, they’re constantly bickering but slowly starting to make friends and trust each other on their various psychicker missions, as they still war over this ridiculous video game in their free time. One day Saiki gets fed up because Aiura complains to him about ‘this guy online’ and telepathically links their thoughts.Ensue chaos.

There’s more to this idea but it gets more cursed. But idk if I will actually write it. It would have to be a comedy which isn’t exactly my strong suit.
