Sometimes I like to think about that one time there was a tornado watch in my town in 5th grade, and I decided to pack all my most important belongings into a bunch of pillowcases, drag them downstairs to the basement bathroom, and hide down there with my cat ( unwillingly brought along in his carrier ) for around an hour and a half. 

...at the hour and a half point, my mom informed me that a tornado watch, did not, in fact mean that there was a tornado en route that very second, and simply meant that we were having some nasty weather that has the potential to become a tornado. And that the watch had been called off already because said weather had already moved on. Good times.
