Continued || @tornhonored || Assumptions never seemed to work out, did they? Strix was guided by two guards down the hall; Talon didn't trust her and rightfully so. When she had awoken merely a few weeks ago she was told she had killed three of their best soldiers before being put to sleep. She didn't remember anything, only red and the copper scent of blood. The woman ended up reaching the cell alone, her escorts too unnerved to advance passed the halfway point. The growling voice that greeted her didn't seem to alarm or upset her either; rather she simply crossed her arms as she stepped into the cell. "That's no way to treat a guest," she murmured, cocking a brow at him. It was obvious that the girl understood, to an extent, what he was going through. Though she wore dark armour like any of the other Talon agents, the burns along one side of her face and small shrapnel scars were still fresh. In the dim light her face was so badly scarred it could have been considered hideous, and the large white bird on her shoulder was in no better state. His feathers were charred, skin and feathers upon his face stripped to show charred bone. How the thing even lived at all was a shock, empty sockets still seeming to stare into the man. Both knew the pain Talon caused and only found compassion again through one another; that same compassion was to be shown to the man before her. Strix crouched down, arms folding across her lap neatly as she tilted her head ever so slightly. "I'm not here for an examination... That's some other poor fellow's job. No, I requested to see you myself. I..." She fell silent, struggling to find the words to explain what she was feeling but to no avail. She shook her head, glancing off to the side. Nobody was around... No shapes beyond the glass. "We'll get you out of here. Nobody deserves this..." She snorted suddenly, standing once more. Despite her movements, Jareth seemed to be stuck like glue to her shoulder. "I'm too far fucking gone, but they haven't finished with you yet. Maybe you have a chance."
