Toronto Comicon has come and gone, and I’ve finally recovered all my sleep. So here are my thoughts about the convention.

The not so good.......

Honestly the only thing that wasn’t that great about this convention was that people just weren’t there to buy things. My overall sales were way lower than what I expected based on other conventions I had gone to of the same size. (Silver lining is that a have lots of stock left over so I don’t have to stress about prepping for my next convention in May)

The good.....

It’s always a great time when I get to hang out with @kkul-jaem and people watch. Since this convention brings together so many fandoms it’s great to see all the different types of people, especially the families that come out. Seeing parents and kids geek out together really makes conventions special. 

The awesome.....

We talked to so many critical role fans <3. The love for this show is amazing. I got to see cosplays of Vex, Jester, Mollymauk and Yasha, which lead to me cry internally. Seeing peoples reactions as they noticed our critical role items was priceless. We even had fans come by telling us that they were told to come check out our artist table by other critters at the convention. It was all just so good and heartwarming. 

Overall, I left the convention on Sunday with a big smile on my face, having learned more about convention tabling, and having met some wonderful people. 

A big THANK YOU to all the people that came out to visit our table. Your kindness and support means the world to us <3

The Toronto Comiccon was awesome! We met a lot of amazing artists and talented cosplayers ♡ And the Trekkie that I am had the chance to meet Marina Sirtis who played Diana Troi in "The next generation" (my favorite series of Star Trek). I hope to someday meet the rest of the crew. 😍 But for now, I have to work on commissions and on my next cosplays. x") Next convention... I mean the Tldr is in the image so I guess I'll skip that haha. 💄So I should be at #torontocomiccon this Saturday if all goes to plan. I probably won't be able to stay the whole day as my health has been very dodgy lately but I'll do my best! Def send spare spoons my way if you got 'em 😂 🍑Next cam day I'll be online is Thursday the 22nd and I'm planning a boudoir #tauriel look I'm pretty excited about it! 😺Dewen still needs steroid shots and an inhaler twice a day but she seems stable for now, but both her and her brother Arthur seem to be settling in very well after the move 📷 PATREON LAUNCH TOMORROW! 🏠 honestly life is a bit extra tough right now, my health and financial stress is really taking its toll and so I haven't been sharing as much because I don't want to be a downer. When I do share I try and leave you guys with a silver lining, some laughs, or a positive message. And so when I can't do that I don't say anything... But part of learning how to live with my disabilities is a huge amount of reframing my thought patterns. So guess what? it's okay to let yourself feel shitty every now and then. I'm normally a push it down and get shit done kind of person and I'm being forced to realise how unhealthy that can be. And just because today may be a write off doesn't mean tomorrow will be!
